>Chris_Grubb: AAITUW 1H U.WIT +27 36
#note Chris laid down ATWAIN but wasn't sure. I didn't realize he wasn't sure, so I thought he was probably keeping AAU here.
>Noah: EGIILOQ 7C QI +26 126
>Chris_Grubb: AA H3 AA +12 48
>Noah: EGIILOR 3D ORIG..I +12 138
#note ABOIL looks right, since it blocks the hard-to-deal with (UNWIT)S hook. This play creates another annoying hook instead.

>Chris_Grubb: GNO A5 ..GON +18 152
#note Held and released.
>Noah: BDEILOV G3 .LOB +16 238
#note Thought about plays like DEVIL or LEVIED, but it seemed like DEIV played pretty well the pool and board, and this opened less than other options.
>Chris_Grubb: DLW H7 W.LD +13 165
>Noah: DEILTUV B8 DUVET +22 260
#note Also thought about UNWITTED, but decided on this because of the much better leave, and because it made bingoing harder (apparently by 7-8 percentage points with a random rack). Playing off more tiles also looks good since the pool is so strong.
>Chris_Grubb: CEENOST 10H .OC +12 177
#note Turns out I blocked CENOTES.
>Noah: EEIILTU A11 TUILE +23 283
#note Held and released.
>Chris_Grubb: EEJNST 11E JEES +31 208
>Noah: ?ACEHIO B14 OH +19 302
#note Waffled between this and LOCHIA for a bit, then realized how well the ACEI? leave played with the pool.
>Chris_Grubb: EENNRST K4 RENNETS +71 279
>Noah: ?ACDEIP C11 CAP +22 324
>Chris_Grubb: AFO L6 OAF +23 302
>Noah: ?DEGIOT M4 GODETIa +74 398
#note Also thought about hOGTIED, UNWITTED, and DOG. It looked like GODETIa lost about 4% of the time. I was worried about bad draws after playing off three. But wait! Not only do I have to have a bad draw, he also has to have a bingo. And it looks like these events are mutually exclusive. Oops. Huge mistake. This sort of thing is a big hole in my game. I think the answer to this hole is "identify the places where you need to think logically and plan, and do that". I tend to play more heuristically in general, which is good a lot of the time, but doesn't work so well in certain situations, mainly closed boards and tough endgames. If I notice that type of situation and switch modes, maybe that will help.

#note HISS is better.
