#player2 Morris_Greenberg Morris Greenberg
>Jesse_Day: EEHISTZ 8G ZIT +24 24
#note JD: HIST much more likely to lead to bingo due to better vowel-consonant ratio. ZEE is the play by a mile. also would be better defense. also, should always play TIZ instead!!
>Morris_Greenberg: BIIKMNU J4 NIMBI +28 28
#note Morris: I was not 100% on whether both BUMKIN and BUMPKIN are words or just BUMPKIN. BUMKIN is valid and is a bit better here.
>Jesse_Day: AEEHOSS K8 SHOE +28 52
#note if I wanted to force a defensive encounter against morris, I could play SEAS at K5 right now - I can't remember if I seriously considered it.
>Morris_Greenberg: AIKPQTU 5H QU.P +30 58
#note Morris: I forgot about QA(M)UTIK! Also, PAIK or PAK J10 is fine too.
>Jesse_Day: ACEFNRS 9F CAF +26 78
>Morris_Greenberg: ?AEIKOT 12F OAKIEsT +87 145
>Jesse_Day: AEIINRS 13B SENARII +77 155
>Morris_Greenberg: EGIIMTU L3 GEUM +30 175
#note Morris: GIM(M)IE 6G is pretty slick and I missed it. Both seem reasonable here.
>Jesse_Day: ACGHOOU 12A COHO +35 190
#note CAHOUN for 7 less seems worth it to avoid the miserable GU combo, but the sim is within a point.
>Morris_Greenberg: IILORTY A8 LYRI. +30 205
>Jesse_Day: AEGNNOU H11 E..NG +30 220
#note did I really miss GENOA here? shrug
>Morris_Greenberg: DEILOTX 14A DETOX +50 255
>Jesse_Day: AAFNOUV 15H .UAVA +10 230
#note yikes
>Morris_Greenberg: GILLPRY 10J G.LLY +21 276
>Jesse_Day: AFLNOTT 8A .OFT +8 238
#note I'm in bad shape here - I see no alternative that enhances the volatility as I need.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?AEIRRW 7B WEAR +21 297
#note Morris: I realized right after that I should maybe have played WEIR instead. That allows me to be able to play parallely to the play I make at 7B this turn, which is important given that F1 is now a juicy bingo lane so I should guarantee myself the opportunity to close it down. I initially chose WEAR given there are 3 A's unseens to 1 I, but I think the ability to shut down tips the scales towards WEAR. Fwiw, Quackle prefers WEAR slightly, though I doubt that is correct.
>Jesse_Day: ABLNNST 11A .N +6 244
#note pretty poor move, I think, angling for ABSENTLY expecting morris to block on the left. I prefer BANTY at N6, enhancing the volatility of the board at the risk of conceding a big scoring play.
