>Joshua_Sokol: DILPRST H4 DRIPT +20 20
>Rahn_McKeown: KNW 6G W.NK +21 21
>Joshua_Sokol: ACJLNRS K2 JARLS +36 56
#note I quickly played this instead of thinking about whether SWINK was good or not. I was confusing it with SWICK*. F2 JARLS is 8 more points, and Rahn caught on to that right away. Maybe that's a good thing. Maybe he tilted the rest of the game.
>Rahn_McKeown: EHNO L1 HONE +37 58
#note they call me points-giver-upper-McGee
>Joshua_Sokol: AACCLNU 5B LACUNA. +23 79
#note was only 95% on CANULAR, which looks better than LACUNAR by a little bit
>Rahn_McKeown: AEGORU M3 AERUGO +27 85
>Joshua_Sokol: CEHMNUY L8 MUNCHY +45 124
#note I saw this and H(O)MMY for 3 more. I preferred my leave after MUNCHY so I chose that. I missed B1 MUCH(L)Y and B2 MUH(L)Y, which are also good plays, but sort of not my style. If I can take out a big spot, I will.
>Rahn_McKeown: OOT M12 OOT +21 106
#note This play scared me. Rahn said he didn't have an S, just a bunch of vowels. In that case 1L (H)OOT scores the same and doesn't set up a big hook, but this worked out in Rahn's favor as I started freaking out a bit
>Joshua_Sokol: BEEELMR N11 EMBER +38 162
#note I really hated this, but I wanted to give him just one shot to punch me out. Maybe I should juat play MEL N13.
>Rahn_McKeown: EEOPSX O7 EXPOSE +60 166
>Joshua_Sokol: DEIIILV 1L .IVE +30 192
>Rahn_McKeown: IINV D1 VINI. +28 194
#note ugh I almost had VINI(C) last turn!
>Joshua_Sokol: ?DFIILY 1D .ILIFY +45 237
#note luckily I am a luckbox and I drew FY? Now I didn't have to worry about look for bingos with this in play. Good thing he blocked L(U)CIDIFY*, I was considering it prior to his move.
>Rahn_McKeown: DFOR 3A FRO.D +18 212
>Joshua_Sokol: ?ABDOTU A1 DA.T +27 264
#note I became obsessed with this play for some reason, missing TOFU and TUFA. Those are slightly better due to leave.
>Rahn_McKeown: AQ 8F QA. +12 224
#note I felt very confident now
>Joshua_Sokol: ?ABDEOU 10F sEABOU.D +62 326
#note But SEABOUND* is phony!!! I didn't really recognize the alphagram, but it made too much sense. I have valid bingos I should have seen! I should throw myself into the sea for this.
>Rahn_McKeown: ?ILORST 9A nOSTRIL +73 297
#note Should Rahn open the board more here? Things look bleak but maybe he is better off after ORaLIST or eSTRIOL on row 11. STRObIL definitely looks better than nOSTRIL, making my snapbacks tougher
>Joshua_Sokol: EEGINTZ C7 ZE.TING +54 380
#note Not realizing I am emptying the bag is a rarity, but we had been playing quite fast, and this game was over far sooner than I expected. This position is definitely unclear. 8A ET wins the sim. It keeps (A)GNIZE at H10 for next turn and blocks a lot of stuff
>Rahn_McKeown: AEEGISW A7 WI.GE +24 321
>Rahn_McKeown: AEEGISW -- -24 297
#note lucky he didn't have anything.
>Joshua_Sokol: AET 2F ATE +16 396
>Joshua_Sokol: (WEIGESA) +22 418
