#note It's either this or exchange 4 keeping RSS. I felt the duplicated S hurt me more than it helped. It takes a few hundred iterations for a sim to sort itself out, but this is best.

#note This is why you have to stay calm and not let what happened in your previous games get to you. An after-the-fact check of my scoresheets shows that this was literally the 12th time in my last 15 games I had drawn the Q. And with no exception prior to now, it had *always* come when there was no really good play available and/or it screwed me both in terms of board position I had to sacrifice and/or rack development. As irritated as I was to see it in my rack on my second turn YET AGAIN, I was just relieved to see a 34-point play and I didn't look past that. Pretty shameful, considering I had SQUADRON for 90 if I'd bothered to look for it. The only consolation: it wouldn't have stopped his next bingo.

#note No 8's play. It's this or DONE 9F.
>Ken_Rubin: EHIL E10 ELHI +25 161
>Jim_Burlant: EINNORS 10G NO +8 52
#note During the game I thought I might have missed one of the new high-prob 7's, but at least I didn't because there is no 7 in this rack. Anything is pretty much as good as anything else here, according to the sm. The only question is where to fish?
>Ken_Rubin: EILOSTV J3 LOVIEST +72 233
#note I held for a split second - I had to remember that VIOLETS (which would have scored 80) has a new anagram.
>Jim_Burlant: EIJNORS 11H REJOINS +80 132
>Ken_Rubin: DEEILRS M6 REDLI.ES +72 305
#note 5G SILVERED/SLIVERED score 74, but whatever. Between my turn 2 ineptitude and the tile gods, this game is over.
>Jim_Burlant: DEIOTUX 7B OX. +35 167
#note I don't like L3 TUXEDO because of what it does to the board. If I had some sort of play that would allow me to open a 3x3, I'd do it. I don't have that, so I felt this was best.

#note Perhaps I should know better given what happened in round 3 against Orry, but I hadn't given up yet. The only way for me to get back in is to hit a 3x3. The duck doesn't like this, but really - what do I have to lose?
>Ken_Rubin: AEGGT 15A GA.GET +33 402

#note IFS in the same location scores 34, but whatever. It wouldn't have stopped his next play.

#note Briefly considered FRITZING* A8, but didn't think it would fly. These letters score 10 more at 2F.
>Ken_Rubin: AABDGIL 14B B. +16 463

#note Annotation stops here, as my notes are incomplete. He plays somewhere for 30 on this turn (Quackle doesn't show any 30-piont options), I make a cool end game play of FRAMER I7 (which I misscore as 29), he goes out. Final score, 532 - 352, Ken's win. Maybe this turns out differently if I don't whiff on my rack 2 bingo?
