>Alec: JO 8G JO +18 18
>Will: DEGMOPU I6 PUG +18 18
#note Already a good equity play, PUG also constricts Alec's options pretty severely, which I love after his opener of JO.
>Alec: INR J5 RIN +13 31
>Will: DEEMOOR 9G OM +19 37
#note Not sure why I didn't do 9G OE instead - not only is the leave more balanced, but it's better for blocking sevens than OM, which gives back plays forming OMA. Not good.
>Alec: ??ENRWY 10G YaWNERs +80 111
>Will: DEEKOPR L8 PO.KED +32 69
>Alec: CILST 11C CLITS +28 139
>Will: EELMNRX 8L .LEX +39 108
>Alec: Q E10 Q. +11 150
>Will: EEIMNOR 7M EMO +22 130
#note I was actually close to doing something like INCOME or MIOCENE down the C column, because blocking the board at a deficit is counterintuitive. But it's not a huge deficit, and if I can manage to hit the open C or D, I might be happy that the board is worse off after EMO.
>Alec: ABHT 4J BATH +24 174
>Will: EEFGINR 13E FINGERE. +65 195
>Alec: DFL 9K F.LD +24 198
>Will: AADLNOU 14A UNLOAD +34 229
#note Equity-bot fail right here. I just didn't look for a move like 11J AUK, and I was punished for it.
>Alec: SUYZ A11 YUZ.S +54 252
>Will: AAACERS 3L AA +16 245
#note This gives back some pretty huge plays, but I also can draw a lot of S- bingos on row 15 too.
>Alec: GUV 2J VUG +19 271
>Will: ACEERRS C9 RE. +6 251
#note There are two pathways here - the REC route, and playing 13A ZEE or 11J ARK, one after the other. I'm ashamed to say I was blind to the Z spot as a potential easy vowel dump for 30 points, so for me, It was between ARK and REC - given that I didn't spot the followup potential of ZEE, I thought opening a new bingo line was the way to go.
>Alec: ETT 14I TET +13 284
>Will: AACEIRS 15G ACAI +24 275
#note ACAI sims well, and the unseen tiles are pretty vowel heavy, making ERS a lot better than ES to keep - but ACARI's 9 more points would've been pretty useful. On the other hand, ACAI blocks both triple word scores on row 15, and TET seems like a particularly good play if Alec has the last H for ETH.
>Alec: BEIV D6 VIBE +14 298
>Will: AEEIRSS 11J EE. +28 303
#note Again, just not seeing ZEE for some reason, and it costs me huge. It blocks ZOA, which Alec has a ton of the time, preserving ARK - and there's almost nothing that fits in the ARK spot for him from the unseen pool.
>Alec: AEIRW 6B WA.IER +22 320
>Will: AHIRSST B9 AH +29 332
#note 12C SI blocks ZOA, leaves one in the bag, and preserves both my play of B9 AH as well as 2J VUGHS, which I totally whiffed on. I'm not sure why I missed so many of my options this game.
>Alec: AO 13A .OA +30 350
>Will: IIIRSST E2 IRIT.S +14 346
#note Drawing II was certainly not a good feeling, though.
>Alec: DNNOOT A7 NOD +17 367
>Will: IS 5L SI +13 359
#note The sheer volume of options I failed to consider in this game was really disappointing. This should have been a win.
>Will: (NOT) +6 365
