#note Q prefers ENSZ by a few points to ANSZ, which I thought might actually just be a point or two, but I liked setting up S?Z plays under MEM. I looked hard for a Z setup but didn't like any. M(AI)ZE would be great if not for the huge spot it sets up. I didn't think I hit my M on the B column enough to justify MAIZE... need those heat maps! (L)EZ is worth considering as well, but I felt the Z could get better here. MAIZE helps my average score more than it helps his.

#note not sure here... Q(I) hits with IOSUV? which is 16/39 tiles. it does make an annoying spot/lane that I have to deal with, and I am probably not drawing an I next turn. I also considered exchanging, which is probably fine here. again not sure if this hyper defense is worth it given my inflexible leave - without the Q in hand I definitely play this
