#player2 Joanne_Cohen Joanne Cohen
>Joshua_Sokol: AMNORST H4 MATRONS +74 74
#note This is how I start the tournament off :D
>Joanne_Cohen: AJV 5E JAV. +28 28
>Joshua_Sokol: ADINNRU 7F NU.D +8 82
#note I took a very long time here. I started trying to gather intuitive range information from Joanne here. I think I made a good decision here, but (J)UN is far and away the best play here. I wonder if that would have worked out as well
>Joanne_Cohen: IIIIIII -IIIIIII +0 28
>Joshua_Sokol: AAFINRX 10H .AX +26 108
#note Almost played 8A FARINA, which I would play against a lot of opponents, but I liked where this was going. 6H (T)AX is just too aggressive in my opinion.
>Joanne_Cohen: EGLOUY 11I EULOGY +31 59
#note My opinion was invalid. (T)AX was a better play!
>Joshua_Sokol: ABFINRR 12L FIAR +34 142
>Joanne_Cohen: OTY O12 .YOT +21 80
>Joshua_Sokol: BENPRSU 13M PR. +34 176
>Joanne_Cohen: IIK 6H .IKI +21 101
>Joshua_Sokol: BEGNOSU 5K BUG +20 196
>Joanne_Cohen: DOW 6D DOW +38 139
#note a downside of NU(R)D
>Joshua_Sokol: EENOSST I5 S..E +22 218
#note I am unsure if I saw 4H (M)ESON, but that's certainly the play here.
>Joanne_Cohen: AR 4H .AR +11 150
>Joshua_Sokol: AEFNOST M3 FO. +14 232
#note Considered 6M OF but she's pretty likely to have a T, more likely than usual.
>Joanne_Cohen: ?EGILRT K5 ..G +6 156
#note Actual rack. No bingo plays, but N10 L(YAR)T is 24 points.
>Joshua_Sokol: AAEMNST N2 MENSA +32 264
#note Maybe J2 MA(R), but after her fish it's best to score and set up scoring elsewhere
>Joanne_Cohen: ?EILRTT 14G LITTERs +64 220
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AACINT 15C CAnTINA +87 351
#note very lucky draw here after fishing for 4 turns. Saw ACTINIA played for one more at 15D after playing this pretty quickly since it opened almost nothing else
>Joanne_Cohen: CDEHIQZ O1 HIE +28 248
>Joshua_Sokol: DEHNOVZ O6 HOVE +35 386
#note wanna keep the Z here, it's close between playing DOZEN, DOVEN/DEVON and HOVE
>Joanne_Cohen: BEELPS 8A BLEEPS +40 288
>Joshua_Sokol: DIINUWZ B6 WI.D +16 402
#note 6B WI(DOW) is fine here, this doesn't really block much
>Joanne_Cohen: DO E3 DO.. +12 300
>Joshua_Sokol: EEINOUZ D1 ZEIN +53 455
#note I really just had to make sure there wasn't a 3x3 in the pool before playing this. It does perfectly with the Q that's possibly in the bag, but also blocks a lot of Q plays
>Joanne_Cohen: CEILNQR 1B LE. +12 312
#note But after missing WI(DOW), I miss it again. She can play QI at C5! But her best play is the sick D13 LE(A), setting up the I for I(LEA) and CINQ! crazy endgame here that we both simplified by missing QI. This is a very good play, but she did not see her spot to play the Q!
>Joshua_Sokol: AEEOTU B1 .EE +6 461
#note now I should block her QI spot with A3 OUTA.
I realize that WI(L)D was much better than I thought it was, because it sets up QI or even QUIT(E)-type plays at C5. This should be 30 points worse than OUTA and 2 points worse than E(ID)E which I SAID I WOULD NEVER MISS AGAIN!!!!
I thought here that I was really sticking her with the Q again!
>Joanne_Cohen: CINQR K13 R.C +5 317
#note -32 to QI at C5 again!!!
>Joshua_Sokol: AOTU A7 A.OUT +12 473
>Joshua_Sokol: (INQ) +24 497
