>Joshua_Sokol: ?DEIJOR H4 JOInDER +94 94
#note JOyRIDE provides 2 hooks instead of 1, but JOInDER is less defensive. Pick your poison.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: DELNUV 5E UNL.VED +44 44
>Joshua_Sokol: EEEGIOO 10C GOOIE. +9 103
#note realized I played this too fast too slowly! NOOGIE or GOONIE are better here from the N, GOONIE scores the most, so I'll go with that next time...
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ABF 6J FAB +32 76
>Joshua_Sokol: AEEORTW 4K OWE +16 119
#note One mistake usually precedes another. I had realized GOOIER was a mistake, so I was already making rash decision. 11C OWE is 24 points, and although it doesn't give me as many chances to get a bingo next turn, I'm not desperately in need of one. Although one would be good, I'm playing a scoring machine.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AENWX 4A WAXEN +40 116
>Joshua_Sokol: AEEGRTT 8A TARGETE. +86 205
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AAGN 3C ANGA +34 150
>Joshua_Sokol: AEOOTUY 2F YOU +27 232
#note I was sort of thinking he might have the Z here, but even so this was my best equity play by far. Other option is YEO(W) A1. Should've done that despite it being worse. As I have withheld for a while now, one must make further mistakes to correct previous mistakes. There is no other way to make things right in the world.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: CEILRSS 1A SLICERS +94 244
>Joshua_Sokol: ABEEORT 5A OBE +24 256
#note almost (B)AREBOAT!
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EILU C8 .E.ULI +16 260
>Joshua_Sokol: ADELPRT 13A TR.PEDAL +62 318
#note I was going to play 9G R(E)PLATED if he hadn't given me a spot for bingos that I was 100% certain of. I just couldn't be certain enough, and it wasn't a huge difference. -6
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ACIV A11 VA.IC +33 293
>Joshua_Sokol: HIKNNRZ 15A .HINK +15 333
#note wow. E7 H(E)R(O)IZE is something I would normally see. This unloads some tiles, blocks the most dangerous bingo spot on the board and keeps the Z, but it doesn't compare to the power of 38 points. I also totally missed (E)K(E) G8, K(E)N and K(E)RN play there. I disliked M3 Z(E)K because of the leave, and I had a feeling Matthew was ready to strike. Wasn't sure where though.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ADEHIMO 12G HAEMOID +86 379
>Joshua_Sokol: ?INRSTZ 9G R.Z +27 360
#note But no fear! I draw too well. I can play this and have a really huge chance at a bingo next turn, providing I don't draw the Q. Then it's a question of making sure there are multiple Q spots on the board so I don't get stuck drawing it, and if I can, try to prevent Matthew from getting his own bingo, since there are still many nice letters to come.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: NOTTU 13J UNTO +22 401
#note But Matthew smells trouble, and decides to get rid of his U, keep a T for Q(A)T B7, but really he just wants to avoid drawing the worst tile in the game.
>Joshua_Sokol: ?FINQST N2 QIS +31 391
#note And would you look at that! Quackle provided me with my exact draw of FQ, so I didn't have to enter the rack myself. It knew that I did not deserve to win this game. I spent around 8 minutes looking for a way to win, but even hoping for a specific tile seemed to lose against perfect play. I can't win here. Matthew can easily figure out what to do if I play off an F in search of a win next turn, as he will have perfect info about my potential.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AIPRSTY 11I PAY +37 438
#note -4 to 11K SPAIT leaving F13 (D)RY for next turn.
>Joshua_Sokol: ?FMNT O1 FiT +27 418
#note -1 to M9 FaN(DO)M. I was out of time.
