>Ryan_Fischer: AIQTTUV 8E QUIT +26 26
#note Forgot VITTA. Fine getting rid of the Q now, although saving QU and getting rid of VTT has merit! Placement is definitely up for debate. I don't want to expose the E hook on a place that will score that well. Only 3 Us left.
>Rasheed_Balogun: AIP 7G PIA +18 18
>Ryan_Fischer: AJTUUVW 6H TAJ +31 57
#note I really like this play, because without a U or I, he's not scoring much. I know the leave is horrendous, but his score will most likely be so, too.
>Rasheed_Balogun: IIII -IIII +0 18
>Ryan_Fischer: HIOUVVW -OUVVW +0 57
#note I kept HI to underlap the Q and score. Was happy with how things were working out so far. HUI is just not an option.
>Rasheed_Balogun: AC 8C AC.... +20 38
>Ryan_Fischer: HINOORS D8 .HORIONS +78 135
>Ryan_Fischer: FGINRRT (challenge) +5 140
#note This is the highlight of my tournament. Don't know where I pulled it from, but was so happy to find it (ISOCHRON too). I'm betting it may have been from when I looked at ISO- words. Saw HORIZON and DISHONOR, too. Should have seen HORNITOS.
>Rasheed_Balogun: ADF 15A FAD. +24 62
>Ryan_Fischer: FGINRRT 13C F.RTING +28 168
>Ryan_Fischer: AEIORTU (challenge) +5 173
#note Missed T(H)ING leaving FRR. Was really happy with this, though. Saw GRIFT, but didn't think PIR was good.
>Rasheed_Balogun: AE 14B EA. +17 79
>Ryan_Fischer: AEIORTU H12 U.AI +15 188
#note 9A OUT(H)IRE 34. This is really where things start to go south. U(N)AI is an okay play. But, two turns later I will have convinced myself that RE(ACQUIT)* is a word, and I missed it. I knew there was a REACQ* word, but there are no 8s with that pattern! Only REACQUIRE and REACQUAINT come close. I was so sure, that had I come into RE- later in the game and the spot were open, I would have played it instantly. All my plays later fixated on trying to get that, and not lock the board down. The next turn is disgusting...
>Rasheed_Balogun: ?AEENRV 10D .VERNEAr +64 143
#note He said I blocked him playing AVENgER to open things up. NERVAtE is 72.
>Ryan_Fischer: AEOORTT C7 T.O +11 199
#note Here's where I blow it, and the next few turns should be preserved on bloopers reels for posterity. I could play ANYTHING ELSE. ANYTHING ELSE. And be okay. But I totally FORGOT ST is a word! I play O(T)TO fo 6 and it's pretty much game over, even!
>Rasheed_Balogun: GNN 15G G.NN +5 148
#note Should I be worried? He just blocked a line, right?
>Ryan_Fischer: ADEMORT 9F TEAM +32 231
>Rasheed_Balogun: DY K9 D.Y +12 160
>Ryan_Fischer: CDGILOR L11 ORGIC +27 258
#note I should note I still think RE(ACQUIT)* is good at this point, as was debating parting with my R and opening up a line. Heh. Get ready...
>Rasheed_Balogun: EILNORS B1 NEROLIS +70 230
#note He passed up LIENORS because the L in that spot would be easier to use than the N.
>Ryan_Fischer: BDHLPTV A7 PHT +29 287
#note Yes, I drew that dreck to LD. I'm still up 28, but the 3x3 is open. I could just play V(O)LT or B(O)TH and come back with the P later. But nooooo.
>Rasheed_Balogun: EOYZ A1 OYEZ +112 342
#note AAAAAAAHAHHAHAHAAH.
>Ryan_Fischer: BDDLLMV -BDLLMV +0 287
#note Didn't know V(I)LD. This exchange is 5th static. Q static says if not VILD keep DL.
>Rasheed_Balogun: EEW C1 EWE +30 372
>Ryan_Fischer: BDEIRSW M9 WEB +20 307
#note Didn't know WEID. Figured an X bomb and bingo is now my only shot. The funny thing is, Champ said T(A)O, as bad as it was, was 79% to win, and O(T)TO 78%. And now I'm 11% if I play WEID!
>Rasheed_Balogun: EKLU L6 LUKE +20 392
#note Smart of him to board control and inhibit the spot.
>Ryan_Fischer: DEILRSX 4A ..RIL +35 342
#note Should've dumped the X and hoped for one of the two Os. I can still play off the L. This at least opens another spot.
>Rasheed_Balogun: ?DILOOS N3 DOOLIeS +67 459
#note Hehe.
>Ryan_Fischer: BDEMSVX O2 VEX +41 383
#note Chickened out on EMBOX. Whoops.
>Rasheed_Balogun: AEU 13K A.UE +10 469
#note And that is how I blew my shot at 2nd. I sure made Rasheed's weekend though! Said it was the only game he took a picture of! :)
