#player1 Jackson Jackson
#player2 Wayne_Barclay Wayne Barclay
>Jackson: ABTTUXZ H7 ZAX +38 38
#note I should play BATTU here of course, maybe I'll get some killer overlap if he plays TI, IT, or TA. B on the star
>Wayne_Barclay: AH I7 AH +23 23
>Jackson: ?BFSTTU J4 FUBS +27 65
>Wayne_Barclay: ADELOSS G8 LASSOED +76 99
>Jackson: ?DEILTT 11D ThI.TLED +82 147
>Jackson: ?DEILTT -- -82 65
#note I rushed this play and didn't look through the U. I was maybe 50/50 on the word. blehh
Good challenge by Wayne
>Wayne_Barclay: EPPR H12 PREP +45 144
>Jackson: ?DEILTT 5E aLTIT.DE +82 147
>Wayne_Barclay: AGIORU 11A GIAOUR. +16 160
>Jackson: ACEGTYY A8 YEG. +27 174
#note I like the scoring power of ACTY, and blocking the G. yegg lowers his score by like 4-5
>Wayne_Barclay: OO 4J .OO +19 179
>Jackson: ACFTTUY 4A FATTY +34 208
#note TU(R)FY next to lassoed is definitely the play. also FARCY there. CAUT(ER)Y is probably a bit better than this. I considered TUFTY as well. not really sure what's best out of the non parallels. probably cautery
>Wayne_Barclay: ADEEGLT 14G ..LEGATED +78 257
>Jackson: CCDKTUW 3L DUCK +26 234
#note not sure. just opening something.
>Wayne_Barclay: EHLO 15L HOLE +55 312
>Jackson: CIIJNTW C2 WI. +12 246
#note now the plan is to hit IN(K)JET, and a side plan with WI(T) to distract him from inkjet and block for very few points. WIT has the bonus of holding the case T, so I can alter my plan next turn to get rid of my J and go for a bingo
>Wayne_Barclay: IQRU J10 QUIR. +34 346
>Jackson: CIIJNOT A1 COI. +27 273
#note JIN is also worth considering (over join to prevent scoring plays from the J). he was getting low on time so I just slapped down COIF, as it continues my plan perfectly.
>Wayne_Barclay: BNRW D9 BR.WN +20 366
>Jackson: EIJNORT O1 IN.JET +75 348
>Wayne_Barclay: EINV K8 VEIN +29 395
>Jackson: EMNOORV 6A VROOM +19 367
#note I can play VROOM from vein for 33, leaving two in the bag, and try to outscore him. I don't think this is a very viable plan unless he really fucks up and I draw really well. I think if I had another 10 or 15 points it might work, but I think I need a bingo. if I play shorter, I can allow him to play off 2 or three tiles and score while leaving 1 in the bag, which isn't helpful to me, cause then if I fish one tile off he will block the last lane. I want to put him in a position where there are two lanes open, one in the bag, and I hit the lane he doesn't block. might be too desparate, but I don't really think (V)ROOM or other scoring plays work out
>Wayne_Barclay: ?AEIINS M5 SENArII +66 461
>Jackson: AEEMNNR 7B EME +19 386
#note MAR/MAX is better
>Wayne_Barclay: A 10F A. +8 469
