That should have been a more costly error, but he was rewarded, just as I seem to have been for playing the stupid (MIAOW)ING that obviously didn't succeed in throwing Jason off his game.

I was very focused on taking out this spot now that the score was close, but as you will see 12L is a danger in and of itself. Despite this I am an 8/10 favorite here. OAKY would have worked out far better though!

#note Trying to choose between (I)RK and (I)NK was hard enough, but I first had to convince myself that it was better to play IRK over 10J K(N)AUR for the sake of a safety net in the off chance I draw the Q. But evidently this was my game-losing mistake. My leave seems to make the point about playing shorter for more moot, as ENT is just too good here, even with the Q looming. I needn't worry too much about that one tile, because I can lose without drawing it. My tempo is just too much better. Ugh!
