#note This was an astute play, and I made it very fast. The Z setup on both sides is almost impossible to block, and many overlaps give me an even huger Z(AX) reoverlap. But a sim greatly prefers 9I XI, which is far more tame and forces Jason's hand a bit more. I like my choice, and it worked out better than XI would have given Jason's range and his actual rack.

#note Just that morning, I told Jason about Michael Baker's BOOER* attempt the day before. I said to him "it's only WOOER, no BOOER or COOER!" And he didn't say that COOER was good! But when he played this I had to hope he just didn't hear me say COOER was phony, unless he was playing a serious mind game with me! This reminds me of FOILERS* in Albany!!
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AAEFPW J10 PAW +25 214
#note I can't hit my big F play at H12, so I have to hope for one next turn since I can't really block the spot. I thought about N1 PAW but that was just too reckless for 2 more points. No need to create another spot when Jason isn't super likely to hit the H12 spot in the first play. Other consideration is N1 FEW which is surprisingly strong on this board with the remaining tile pool. Not many A's left and not super easy to overlap FEW anyway. AAP? is also significantly better for bingos than AEF? as a leave! And many of those bingos are huge ones that play on column O. Huh! Not sure I would have been able to see that over the board if I tried!

#note I didn't care much for anything here, so I just decided to close down the biggest threats to my victory while unloading some junk. 2F BR(O)IL is fine I guess, but that doesn't accomplish anything. 5C BIRL(ER) is the only other play that sims better than BRI(B)ER, and that's just worse than BR(O)IL so whatever

#note I couldn't remember if LOTA took an S, but otherwise I have no idea what this was. I think I wanted to keep a vowel, which makes sense. I wanted to score, which makes sense. I wanted to block, but this isn't where to block.
