>Joshua_Sokol: AEMNRST H3 SMARTEN +74 74
#note preferred leaving a less generous hook. MARTENS yields better 7s with the S, but I guess the hook is also more manageable after MARTENS. What would you do?
>Ruth_Hamilton: ORUX I2 ROUX +28 28
>Joshua_Sokol: AEIIJTW G5 WAIT +28 102
>Ruth_Hamilton: DEER 5E RE...ED +72 100
#note didn't think about this much! Good thing I didn't have any other decent options last turn.
>Joshua_Sokol: EEEEIJS 4C JEE +22 124
>Ruth_Hamilton: ELPR F2 REP.L +29 129
>Joshua_Sokol: DEEIOSS 10D EIDOSES +74 198
#note had I seen E(J)IDO I don't think I would have risked this. EIDOS-->EIDE!
>Ruth_Hamilton: DILNOT D9 L.NTOID +20 149
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AHHOTV 6J HATH +34 232
#note dunno, I probably should have played C11 OATH. Was trying to block that spot down there. Meh. Wouldn't have changed much. HAH looks better for the correct dose of aggression, but this is probably a better play for my winning chances.
>Ruth_Hamilton: ACELW 15D .ECLAW +36 185
>Joshua_Sokol: ?GNOUVY 12B OU.VYiNG +65 297
>Ruth_Hamilton: NU 2I .UN +5 190
>Joshua_Sokol: ABBEFNO 14H FOB +24 321
#note this turn ended up getting narrowed down to FOB vs FAB. There were 4 A's to duplicate and only 3 O's, which tipped the scale a bit for me, and by keeping the O I am more likely to hit BAN(J)O next turn which I would like. Otherwise FOB created a lane for LA*/RA* words at 13I, and FAB only created a lane for NA* words, which worked in my favour. I regretted not playing FAB instead. I also gave some thought to the aggro play of FABBE(R) A2 but nah. just lets her score for free, leaving the board as it was this turn. Most of the time gets me nowhere and she just scores easily.
>Ruth_Hamilton: GINR B10 GR.IN +20 210
#note PENISES last game and now GROIN. Come on ladies!
>Joshua_Sokol: AABEINT C3 A.I +20 341
#note I would have had NIOBATE after FAB! I knew that was better :(

Looking back I don't really understand why I played this. I don't think I was paying attention to my options. 1K ABATE is the play for sure and I think I even saw that. Perhaps my decision-making process was flawed because I didn't track something earlier on. I also missed TA(J)INE. I probably also saw how ugly the pool was and didn't want to play many tiles. Still, stupid lazy play.
>Ruth_Hamilton: AGIMO 1K AMIGO +35 245
>Joshua_Sokol: ABEINTY A13 BAY +30 371
#note Yeah no thought into this play either. BEY is probably better. EINT isn't usually going anywhere on this board, ANTI is more likely to work out for me. Or maybe my intuitive knowledge of what Ruth might have tips the scale in my favour.
>Ruth_Hamilton: DO 13F OD +14 259
>Joshua_Sokol: EINRSTZ M3 ZIT.ERNS +94 465
#note heyheyhey
>Ruth_Hamilton: ?EFILTU O1 .UTFLIEs +92 351
>Joshua_Sokol: AAEIKPQ A7 KAPA +33 498
#note oh come on, L6 (T)A to block (E)V(E) so that I can C-stick or V-stick Ruth is 5 points better than this. Wins by 174, I only won by 170. Sad!
>Ruth_Hamilton: COV 7M .V. +6 357
>Joshua_Sokol: EIQ B6 QI +37 535
>Ruth_Hamilton: CO 8E CO.. +6 363
#note -1 to 10M (S)OC
>Ruth_Hamilton: (E) +2 365
