#player1 Mike Mike
#player2 Mike_Baron Mike Baron
>Mike: BDKMORX 8G BOX +24 24
#note Sim prefers BORK 8F, but Mike will sniff that one out most of the time.
>Mike_Baron: DTUY J5 DUTY +26 26
>Mike: ADIKMRT 9F KAMI +31 55
#note Or at K4.
>Mike_Baron: EIQT 6I Q.ITE +14 40
>Mike: DGLOORT M2 LOGO.D +20 75
#note OGLED is slightly better.
>Mike_Baron: EJNO 7E JEON +23 63
>Mike: ?AEGNRT L6 .ETRAGoN +71 146
>Mike_Baron: CEHRW 13I WRE.CH +36 99
>Mike: ADEINNT 2F DENTINA. +65 211
>Mike_Baron: FLW 3L W.LF +15 114
>Mike: AAAEEIU 4L A.A +22 233
#note Sim prefers EAU 1F, but I'd rather get in the way of the 3x3 line (unlikely as it may be).
>Mike_Baron: FI O1 IF. +27 141
>Mike: AAEEILU 1F EAU +20 253
>Mike_Baron: EOSV 3C VOES +18 159
>Mike: ABDEILT K10 BAD. +26 279
#note Or BALED, ABED, BATED, or BALE.
>Mike_Baron: ?EINRRS C3 .ERNIeRS +62 221
>Mike: AEGILTU 5C .UGAL +12 291
#note AUGITE B9 wins the sim, but I'd be worried about shutting everything back down in time. TEGULA 12D is an interesting alternative.
>Mike_Baron: IO B9 OI +10 231
>Mike: EIOORTZ A7 ZIT +39 330
#note I saw ZITHER N10, but felt like the easiest way to lose was to open a 3x3 and get it nailed. Simulation suggests I wasn't far wrong (only about 2% win percentage better to play ZITHER), but I'd rather not have to worry about the line next turn (as if he can't hit it, Mike will surely leave it open).
>Mike_Baron: ACEILNS 14C SANICLE +66 297
>Mike: EEOORTY 15A TROY +44 374
#note Or KYE F9 if I want to leave one in the bag. I figured this outran pretty much everything though.
>Mike_Baron: HIMPRSU 13D HUP +23 320
>Mike: EEEOPV A12 POE. +9 383
#note "Okay, I'm blocking MIRS 12A and leaving myself outplays, right? What could go wrong?"
>Mike_Baron: IMRS 12A .RISM +43 363
#note Oops! Even worse, Mike had his score miscounted by 10, so he actually thought for a moment he had pulled out a win, until my scoresheet said otherwise. A recount changed nothing, but boy, would that have been embarrassing.
