#note After an exchange 4 I favour playing short slightly. Otherwise I would play WONTED.

#note ILEUSES
>Joshua_Sokol: BDENOST K5 DEBON.S +40 56
#note Preferring this placement for bingos, but I guess it's not worth the small immediate points sacrifice for the most amount of racks. Or maybe I just needed to play short with something like G6 NOB.
>Craig_Rowland: FILYZ 8J F.ZILY +93 160
#note I would have been insane to challenge this, because DOZILY, COZILY, OOZILY, BOOZILY, WOOZILY, HAZILY, MAZILY, LAZILY are all words... Why would FOZILY* be like the only ZILY word that isn't valid? Fate shines upon that who challenges this play. Am I crazy for letting it go with that knowledge? It looked so valid

#note I guess C11 (K)YAT here. This was done without proper forethought.

#note I felt like in such bad shape here that I had to go for this. This was almost insta-challenged. I thought it could be good, like the other side of a ship from the mast...

#note for some reason I am still in the game after not challenging a 93-point play and playing a phony.

#note in good shape here. How did this happen?
>Craig_Rowland: DEINV L1 VINED +31 314
>Joshua_Sokol: ?EINORR 1A .ROwNIER +77 345
#note BRONZIER was there, but I was too unsure to risk the game on it. Foolish, as 3 points are very important here and could differentiate a win from a loss. Craig almost challenged this.
>Craig_Rowland: EIV 1L .IVE +30 344
>Joshua_Sokol: ADHOSTT F5 THAT +34 379
#note wow, what a draw. The biggest threat on this board is the Q spot at M7, but with Craig having tempo here in the endgame (I am almost definitely going to have to empty the bag next turn; Craig could drop the Q for 42 and still most of my plays would use 3 or more tiles), I need to be able to play the Q for more than 11 points if I draw it. Luckily, my best play in terms of points and leave also creates a second big spot for the Q on this board. I failed to consider blocking the Q spot with H(I)D for 32. I don't know if I could have convinced myself to do that if I had seen the opportunity. Blocking the Q spot and drawing 2 of 8 remaining tiles gives me at least a 6/8 chance of winning, but let's analyze Craig's last move. He played VIVE, and basically the Q is way out of his range. He only drew 3 of 11 tiles, so he had a 27% chance of drawing the Q and losing for sure after HID. I have a 2/11 chance of drawing the Q after H(I)D, and I can play Q(A)T for 22, which is very awkward for Craig to block. So HID also works out well for me if I draw the Q. It looks like with the remaining pool I can probably withstand Craig's tempo after H(I)D. I think it definitely wins me the game more than the proposed 75% that the Quackle sim gives. Championship player says that HID wins around 90% of the time, which makes more sense. I could lose if Craig has an unlikely bingo such as ORGANIC or after a play such as QUA 14A setting up a big case I play. Or if I just draw something like GG and Craig plays QU(I)N 2J. All of those prospects are possible but unlikely. I think I auto-piloted on this turn and I am extremely disappointed in myself for missing H(I)D.
>Craig_Rowland: GG D3 G.G +9 353
#note gg...
>Joshua_Sokol: AADNOOS 3I DON.A +25 404
#note I also auto-piloted on this play, and really, I shouldn't be so angry at myself for this game. Him getting away with FOZILY* is just a crazy thing that really does not occur often enough to worry about, and I was probably right to try ANTIMAST*, but everything after that was just me auto-piloting because I didn't feel worthy of attempting to outplay my opponent after losing a challenge. A(Z)O wins all games as well and is much better for spread, but I didn't put him on the Q here. 50%+ chance, yes, but I think I had a read. Probably not. Just dumb luck that I drew it.
>Craig_Rowland: CEEGIRU 7M G. +10 363
#note it's wrong to block the Q here, just go out in two with F12 C(L)UE

#note -8 to I10 (I)CIER
>Joshua_Sokol: AORS H12 OSAR +21 447
#note my endgame was far less complex than Craig's. I don't have his racks but it looked like he drew insanely horribly this game. I
