>Jackson: AEINSUV 9B UVEA +17 17
>Dave_Krook: HU 10A UH +26 48
>Jackson: EGILNSV H6 SL.EVING +63 80
#note he played UH instantly... this one point sacrifice cause I think he's holding well is actually not justified, cause the I in the double double lane is better than the S. also this makes the sleevings hook (of which I am unsure) a bit more dangerous/likely to be played
>Dave_Krook: AADEFOR 8A OY +24 72
>Dave_Krook: AADEFOR -- -24 48
>Jackson: EILPRTT 6A TRIPLET. +64 144
#note saw triplite very quickly, but spent many minutes trying to decide if I was somehow confusing TRICHITE or what. A miss is a miss
>Dave_Krook: FILY A4 FI.LY +45 93
>Jackson: ?CEIIJZ 10F JI.E +30 174
>Dave_Krook: ?AEEIOO -AEEIOO? +0 93
>Jackson: ?ACFIYZ 12H .AZIFY +42 216
#note NAZIFY is definitely the equity move, but YA was tempting because the Z could improve here - ultimately the board just didn't seem good enough for CFIZ to justify YA - also, it makes the BANNERS hook super hard to deal with.
>Dave_Krook: BOO 11K BOO +28 121
>Jackson: ?CELMOQ C5 Q. +11 227
#note CELMO? bingoes about 2/3!
>Dave_Krook: ESTTX J4 TEXTS +37 158
>Jackson: ?CEELMO N5 CLEOMEs +69 296
#note when I played this, SLEEVINGS looked super bad to me, and it's also the type of word that gets challenged more than others, because Dave likely won't think I know it for sure. I also miss COMpLE(T)E, which I'm of course not playing with the DRS hooks. useful to know that COMPLETER does take an S, and COMPLETES takes the T. also maybe I actually play TELECOM over this - opp. scores the same on average after each bingo - there is a slight risk of 100+ point bingoes after cleomes that hook the T to boos, like WANTERS, but they aren't very likely. I think the board control of the C in cleomes is better, meaning that once I deal with the T in texts, the top of the board is mostly barren. Also, if I had seen complete/a second bingo not on the N row, I might try SLEEVINGS now to get the hook out of the way... and it might also be hard for dave to block the N column, so maybe I just try it now...
>Dave_Krook: ANTW O8 WANT +48 206
>Jackson: ADINRSW 13B DRAWIN.S +83 379
#note inwards/sleevings
>Dave_Krook: CGIKMRT - +0 206
#note he held for a bit and I was confused, then he challenged. it turns out, he sort of missaw the play and thought I had made SLEEVINGS, and was challenging that.
>Jackson: ?ACGHIR 14I sCRAIGH +88 467
#note $10 draw! sCRAIGH won for the most letters in the word CHRISTMAS
>Dave_Krook: EO 15N OE +24 230
>Jackson: ADDKOOR 12A ROOK +35 502
#note 11 vowels to 8 consonants, which made me seriously consider KOA to hold onto more consos and also hold an O for the overlap... probably should do that!
>Dave_Krook: AU 5C .UA +32 262
>Jackson: ADDDNST 4D DAD +25 527
>Dave_Krook: AGO 11C GOA +19 281
>Jackson: DEINRST 5I R.NT +8 535
#note RID is the best endgame (tied with DIN in the same spot), because any play Dave makes will give me a good outplay back. RENT might be better here though, because he may not see IDES and choose to play elsewhere.
>Dave_Krook: EEIMOPU B3 PE +9 290
