J9 AW looks much stronger than I originally thought, too. That's the play, no need to debate between the two WHA placements.

#note Unbelievably, BEARCLAW* is invalid in Scrabble! That should definitely be a word... Along with CATCLAW and CLAPPERCLAW, CLAWBACK and CLAWHAMMER! I saw my real bingo, BECRAWL, and also 15I B(E)CRAWL, which actually sims better than BEARCLAW. It's much more defensive and keeps the best tile in the game. Ron will often play at L1 after B(E)CRAWL and possibly give me a huge spot to bingo in. Should have thought this one through! Luckily Ron, like any other normal person without evidence to the contrary, thought that BEARCLAW must be valid.

DI(G)GED is the valid one, which doesn't make much sense as a word either. Crazy enough, I was ready to play SMIDGED* at L1 for 100, thinking that was a word too. Gosh. This is my problem...
