>Jacquelyn_Fyr: AEELT 8D ELATE +12 12
#note Chicago Literacy Tournament: Game 5: I was happy to see the L come down.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEMNRSU E2 NUMERA.S +70 70
#note 5th best play! Sadly, I didn't even see MANURES and SURNAME in this rack! That was embarrasing! And I definitely did not see the best bingo USERNAME at H1 for 83.Can I get a mulligan on this turn?
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: ANY D3 NAY +27 39
#note Scored as 24. USERNAME also doesn't give this back.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?ACIJQW C4 JAW +31 101
#note Best play!
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: EGR 8A REG..... +27 66
#note Jacquelyn scored this play as 30 so we are back at the correct score. Cool extension.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?BCGILQ -BGQ +0 101
#note I either kept CIL? or CI? Exchanging is clearly best here.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: ?AEGKOP -?AEGK +0 66
#note Jacquelyn exchanged 5 tiles.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?CEILNO A1 COLINEa. +80 181
#note Tied for best play! 6 different bingos for 80 here, but I think vIOLENCE and pLIOCENE are best here because they take out the easy 7 lanes at H7 and H9. PLIOCENE may have drawn a challenge too.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: ?AFIORW 7H AIRFlOW +66 132
#note Best play and only bingo! Very nice find by Jacquelyn but this should not have happened.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AIILOTU K7 .LOUT +16 197
#note Once again, I am rewarded with a terrible post bingo draw. None of the options are good. TUFOLI is dangerous, OUTLAW keeps II. I just tossed something down and moved onto the next turn hoping I blocked something.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: EEIKNS O7 SKEINE +46 178
#note This is also phony. Just SKEIN. Should have challenged. Thankfully this didn't cost me the game.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AIIOPRT N10 PATIO +40 237
#note At least it gave me this! Best play!
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: BEN L10 NEB +14 192
#note Jaquelyn blocks my best X play.
>Jonathan_Lindh: BEIIRVX B2 XI +38 275
#note Best play!
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: EGIRT F8 .IGRET +13 205
>Jonathan_Lindh: ABDEIRV 12D BR.VE +22 297
#note Considered GRIEVE but decided against it due to snapbacks.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: Q 13M Q. +22 227
>Jonathan_Lindh: FGHIMOZ O14 IF +17 314
#note GIZMO best equity play by far but worried I was giving Jacquelyn a bingo so I played defense here.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: HNU J10 HUN +31 258
>Jonathan_Lindh: GHMOOTZ 13A MOZO +34 348
#note Best play! Now is the time to score!
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: DOUV B10 VOD.U +34 292
#note Was not expecting that! Nice play by Jacquelyn.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEEGHRT H12 .ATH +21 369
#note Oooh H1 HETAERAE! However, with two S's out and only a bingo lead, playing defense is the way to go here. Fine with my play.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: IS 15A IS +16 308
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADEEGRT 15E GAT.ERED +65 434
#note Best play! I see this when I wasn't expecting to find a bingo. I did well at finding bingos in this tournament.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: ACDLOPS C1 DO +13 321
>Jonathan_Lindh: CPY M6 C.P +7 441
#note And I miss COPY for 15 and out giving me 461! This was my 2nd horrible endgame in a row but it didn't matter.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: ADILS 5I DIALS +20 341
#note And I give her an outplay. Not good Jonathan.
>Jacquelyn_Fyr: (Y) +8 349
#note Recorded score 441-345. Jacquelyn underscored herself in a few places. USERNAME and a badly played endgame were not good, and missing PLIOCENE and/or VIOLENCE cost some spread too. However, 3 bingos, and no missed bingo turns (despite not playing the OPTIMAL bingos). Another fairly good game to bring my record to 2-3.
