#player2 Matthew_Larocque Matthew Larocque
>George_Macaulay: ?ADGLOP 8G LAPDOGs +74 74
#note Okay now it's really time to fall off a cliff.
>Matthew_Larocque: ?AJRTTX K5 JAT. +22 22
#note Or T(A)J supposedly but I'm probably not going to bingo with the X so why lose out on 12 points.
>George_Macaulay: CIILOOP L4 POI +21 95
#note Got a couple of his racks, POLIO for 29 is probably better here.
>Matthew_Larocque: ?AERTWX M3 TAW +29 51
#note I should just play 9F WAX here, trying to staircase points is okay if you don't have the blank, but ERT? is too good.
>George_Macaulay: IIIUUUU -IIUUUU +0 95
#note Geez Macaulay has been exchanging a lot.
>Matthew_Larocque: ?AEFRSX N2 FAX +40 91
>George_Macaulay: ETV O1 VET +26 121
>Matthew_Larocque: ?ADEIRS 9E ReADIES +85 176
#note For some reason I thought *BREADIES was valid. Which begs the question of why I didn't play ROADIES instead. I saw it obviously but figured it wasn't going to matter.
>George_Macaulay: BBEGHLO 8A GLOBE +35 156
>Matthew_Larocque: EEGIIKT C7 K.I +13 189
#note Putrid play, even something as simple as (L)IKE is an improvement. I didn't know GLEEKI(ER) or KI(L)TIE so that doesn't leave me with much, though. I basically missed any play using more than 3 letters for some reason.
>George_Macaulay: BNOY 10G BONY +46 202
#note I mean I didn't think he'd get that many points from a non-bingo, magnifying the bad play I just made.
>Matthew_Larocque: EEEGITY E5 TIG..EYE +48 237
#note Followed by a huge find. What can I say, I'm pretty 50/50 on finding good plays and making terrible plays. This was a great turn to find a good play though, every other play is trash compared to it. The literal next best option is A7 E(G)GY for 9 points leaving EEIT. 35 point difference in equity.
>George_Macaulay: IIUUUU -IIUUUU +0 202
#note Again!
>Matthew_Larocque: ADEM D10 DAM +28 265
#note Another missed rack.
>George_Macaulay: ERZ C11 REZ +35 237
>Matthew_Larocque: ACEEIOV D1 VOICE +30 295
>George_Macaulay: EENU 1D .ENUE +24 261
>Matthew_Larocque: AAAENRT C1 ANA +21 316
>George_Macaulay: III -III +0 261
#note Seriously, there's no way I should lose this game.
>Matthew_Larocque: AEEORST A7 E.O +4 320
#note Right idea, but I really should have known keeping the second E is waaaay better. EATERS will draw into a lot of bingos that play like SERRATE SERIATE STEALER SWEATER STEAMER and the list goes on.
>George_Macaulay: EINNRSU F12 UN +8 269
#note Afterwards someone mentioned he missed SUNNIER. He only saw * RUNNIES but is that Collins perhaps? Also UNRISEN plays. He would have played ENSURIN(G) had I not blocked.
>Matthew_Larocque: AEORSTU M8 .OU +3 323
#note Both ROSEATE and AUSTERE would have played if I had kept EATERS last turn and draw O or U. I have a feeling I'd have missed ROSEATE though. Seriously. Oh I didn't know the only bingo here, OSSATURE, so I'm stuck playing this nonsense.
>George_Macaulay: DEHINRS N9 SHRINED +103 372
#note Are you for real?
>Matthew_Larocque: AEORSTT O12 TORA +31 354
#note NO BINGOS THE DREAM IS OVER
>George_Macaulay: CIILRRU B5 RIL. +13 385
#note I'd have won the tournament if I had pulled out this win.
>Matthew_Larocque: EILQSST 12L SL.. +8 362
#note But I'd also have won if I hadn't blown two or three games already. Btw I'm fishing for QUITE in two big spots on either side of the board, but in reality I probably need to draw FIQUE to actually win.
>George_Macaulay: CHINRUW 13I WICH +21 406
>Matthew_Larocque: EFIMQST 6D S.FT +26 388
#note This is not better than playing QIS, I don't even need to do math to realize that.
>George_Macaulay: NRU 2H RUN +7 413
>George_Macaulay: (EIMQ) +30 443
#note Good games but I could have used the extra money blah :/
