#note no idea here... considered RIA as well. I might be more wary of making a play like this against another player who will be more defensive, but I don't think Joey will sacrifice too much to block the opening. lots of other scoring spots on the board that are better than this one.

#note typically JUG I3 or FUJIs would be fairly standard, but I can draw into a fair amount of FICES words after GIF that win quite often, especially cause they won't open up great lanes. JUTEs is most likely, but JUDAS, JUCOS, JUPES, and then JANES, JOLES happy occasionally. the downside of this is if Joey makes a fices play next turn, my JUT? leave hinders me from bingoing a lot. Just playing JUG now can be good cause I hold a more bingo prone leave. I was a bit worried about being outscored, as there are quite a few options on this board, especialyl leaving the parallels of GRENADES open. Not sure what's best here. JUG(A) atop quail is also interesting cause it sets up Fu(J)I or FU(J)I with a U draw. A 2 ply sim favours GIF then JUG then JUGA, as does a 4 ply sim. I ended up choosing GIF cause it blocks a pretty decent scoring spot. if he hits FICES I can dump my J and try to bingo. Champ likes JUG. Input is welcomed

#note so I miss TUTORi(A)L here on the right column, which I think always wins, but besides that this turn is still interesting. I considered a few SULU blocks - LOT, which I played, UT/UT, then also (B)LOT at the bottom, and then one tile plays like (JO)T. The 7s in the pool are ANISEED, SNEAPED/SPEANED, EUPNEAS, and PANDIES. I missed EUPNEAS and ANISEED in the pool, which is really bad for my play. Since I saw no 7s starting with a vowel, I thought LOT blocked all of his bingoes. I saw UNPAUSED* in the pool, which I thought was valid, so I didn't want to play UT. Turns out there are no 8s in the pool if I play UT. I figured the worst outrunning scenario is if I draw IU and he plays DEEPS for 43 then AN for 9, which gives him 427 to my 421 after LOT, and with one more play I can definitely outrun that. So I wasn't worried about being outrun, but I think UT is the play besides TUTORIAL cause that best blocks his bingoes. Have to work on my bingo finding in a 9 or 10 tile pool!
