>Mike: INZ 8G ZIN +24 24
>Steve: AAEFGIU J6 FAG +29 29
#note FUG wins a sim, w J7 AGUE next.
>Mike: IOR G8 .ORI +14 38
>Steve: AEINSTU 12G SINUATE +80 109
#note Lucky to draw a bingo, some question of where to play it. CP agrees w me this time.
>Mike: AJM K5 JAM +33 71
>Steve: ACDENOQ 11D QAD. +28 137
#note Qwacks 2nd choice is DEACON scoring 37, but keeping the Q and opening a 3x3 line. Interesting option which I didn't see.
>Mike: ?DINPPR M6 PRoPIN.D +82 153
>Steve: CEENORU D8 CON.UER +42 179
>Mike: AHO C13 HAO +24 177
>Steve: BEEORTV B7 OVERBET +70 249
>Mike: AEINRST A1 STEARIN +76 253
>Steve: CEGHIIU I11 U.CI +9 258
#note This is the turn/rack that gave me the most difficulty. I chose this to eliminate big plays coming down with an S at H11, and as a diversionary tactic as well as leave purposes. But other than SIXTY for 60, or maybe SIBYL for 45, there really isn't much of a threat. I also thought of maybe ICH at c5; that doesn't even come up in Q's initial choices, but it's better than UNCI.
The duck likes plays starting with the H at 11K: HUNG for 28, followed by HINGE. Those are said to give me 46 and 44.5 percent chances to win, whereas UNCI, and even ICH, leaves me at 38 percent.
>Mike: LOW 8L W.OL +30 283
>Steve: EFGHIKR C3 KEFIR +30 288
#note That 11k square is still what Q is screaming for, w FINK or KING this time. My play 4th behind those two, and HINGE at 11k.
>Mike: AYY 15H YAY +34 317
#note This left a mark
>Steve: BEEGHTV K9 BEH.VE +28 316
>Mike: AENWX D2 WAXEN +61 378
#note This left a mark
>Steve: DEGGOST 15A GO.SED +47 363
>Mike: DOT N10 TOD +21 399
>Steve: ?GILSTT 5C ..T +12 375
#note The big problem w my play is it gives Mike an easy hook - he's guaranteed to have an a or an e, or both. I first thought of FELT, but wanted to leave one in the bag. Q's choice is 10J L(E)G(IT). Then 9F G(O)T.
I left an M in the bag it turns out.
