NUT sets up my S, which is good cause I can often hit that spot when I don't draw a bingo, which means often high pointers. ALST is better though, and better for this board with the open R, so I think I prefer that.

#note considered viral, but felt she could overlap for an easy play. that being said, AILRS is bingo or bust - especially if the OMS hook gets taken with a play through vireo. playing more tiles means drawing better scoring tiles, and I"m happy to outrun here. Q says LIAR/OMA. IRS is not ideal with the IR in vireo though. Still, I need to score better than RIN.

#note I figured I couldn't reasonably be outrun here, but obviously that's not the case. IU can go really wrong here. Quackle finds the really nice play - GRUE/EL, 2f. It blocks big plays there like CAW while not giving back bad parallels, and EIT can't go incredibly wrong, unlike IU.
