>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: BHRSSTU 11D BRUT.SH +24 50
#note Missed SHLUB, which sets up my other S, though risks conso congestion. Whatever I think this is fine.
>Orry_Swift: EJLO 12A JOLE +46 55
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AEINOSU A12 .IAO +33 83
>Orry_Swift: ?AIMORT 13F MI.RATOr +74 129
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EEINNSU 7I ENNUI +17 100
#note I liked how well this forked the board.
>Orry_Swift: EIU 10H .IEU +15 144

>Orry_Swift: AESTY 15H YEAST +40 184

>Orry_Swift: EOO F4 OO.E +13 197
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: CDDDHIT B11 D.TH +28 229
#note Considered DHOTI, but I decided to take the opportunity to tighten the board, even though my lead is tiny. I just really hated giving the triple back and keeping no vowels. The plays sim close.
>Orry_Swift: AEOVW H1 AVOWE. +48 245
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ACDDEIL M3 DEIC.DAL +76 305
>Orry_Swift: AMNY 12L MANY +40 285
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: BGINQSU L1 QUIN +53 358
>Orry_Swift: ADEOPRT O7 PAROD. +36 321
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: BCEGPRS E2 PEGS +21 379
#note BERGS sims better. I passed it up because I am paranoid about the slightly easier nines it gives back. But really, those are unlikely. My thinking was that if I got a disaster draw, he might try to outrun me with a play like QAId, then I will at least have R(E)B to come back. Or if he goes for a one-tile fish like 3D NE, I can block with NEB.
>Orry_Swift: ETV 14E VET +16 337
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?ABCELR 1K E.uAL +39 418
#note Aw, I missed CELEB.
>Orry_Swift: FIINT 1F FI.T +7 344
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: BCR 3G C.B +13 431
>Orry_Swift: IN 15N IN +8 352
>Orry_Swift: (R) +2 354
#note Mostly played okay this game, I think. Paranoid plays like PEGS are going to become a theme of this tournament.
