#note QATS doesnt show up on static top 20 cause the top 20 plays are all within 1.5 valuation of each other. QATS sims around 3 below LIA(R)S, which sims best. DRAINS and DRAILS and SNAIL also sim well. hard to argue with the sim here, LIARS is a touch better, QATS doesnt bingo quite enough.
>Josh: EFNPTUU D12 FEU +25 107
#note could do F(E)U or TUNEUP/IMPEDE. FEU for 25 is nice to force me to play my S often cause I will want to block the D setup. FEU's only problem is that it can let me score well by doing that, or let some bingoes score a lot more. TUNEUP looks nice at first but does let some bingoes play that wouldn't otherwise, and occasionally allows a monster IMPEDES bingo. F(E)U for 12 is worth considering, but doesn't seem solid enough to justify the sacrifice

#note A lot of the N column overlaps give back way too much.

#note terrible - UNGAINED* is not a word, I didnt like it at first but couldnt pull the trigger. DUNNAGES and UNHANGED play here
>Jackson: BBEJLNW 2J JEW. +30 311
#note 17-10 vowels to consonants in the pool. BLAWN looks standard at irst, and the E is not bad to keep even with all the vowels out cause it's all Is and Os, but I felt like the L and N as softer consonants would be really helpful throughout the rest of the game to give me flexibility. I am not too worried about the N10 spot given the pool. BLAWN wins a sim by 7, so maybe it's still worth playing cause I can guarantee two 30 point plays in a row.
>Josh: AEEOSXZ G3 ZOE.E +28 316
#note really cool play - case A, so the AX setup is huge, plus it wlil let him keep his S if he hits. Q still prefers SEX for 44 at the bottom, which lowers my average by 5 and still keeps a really powerful leave, AEOZ hits N10 ZOARIA sometimes and the Z is pretty good here overall. Longterm though keeping the case S could be useful for DOULAS though
>Jackson: BBEIILN 3E BI. +14 325
#note josh basically always has an A with ZOEAE, even just ZO(A) would be better with basically all non-A racks. Even more, the Z is powerful enough that he probably has a heavy A rack, AX or AW at least. With nothing specified, BIALI sims a bit better than BIZ. With an A speceified, BIZ sims a few ahead. With AX specified, BIALI sims a fair bit ahead again. I felt like he had an A but not always AX, and even if he had AX he's hitting AX/ZA at a minimum, so the BIZE counter setup would really help me. Case A -> case E setup, really cool sequence
>Josh: AGORSXY 2E AX +54 370
>Jackson: BEILNOV 4B VINO +19 344
#note totally missed OVEN and VLEI here. The timing of this position is rough, leaving 5 in the bag can let him outrun quite a bit. I think I gotta go with VLEI though, there is enough going on on the board that if I hit well and he doesn't I could squeak out a win by sheer force - drawing the F for 15H, drawing something with DOULAS or N10, and then 1a after VLEI. VINO would be okay if there was a way to hit bingoes, but I bingo 3% after VINO, so he can block stuff like BLEW while leaving 2-3 in the bag and still win most of the time.
