>Mack_Meller: ?DEEGOY H6 GEODEsY +80 80
#note Inauspicious start. Mack told me he did this over bOGEYED for defensive purposes- makes it harder to play a 7. I will assume he saw GOlDEYE just because he's Mack, but this looks good over the other 2 bingoes.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ABEEINR 6F BE. +12 12
#note I should not be missing bingoes that are this high prob, but here we are. 6E BER(G)ENIA plays for 65. Luckily, it would not have affected what his next play was.
>Mack_Meller: CEINNOU 9A UNCOINE. +65 145
#note It would not have stopped this from coming down. But this could have been a closer game.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEEINRS B8 A.SERINE +70 82
#note C7 IN(C)REASE might be 2 more, but this volatility is absolutely mandatory when I'm down 2 bingoes. Mack agreed that this was fine.
>Mack_Meller: ADETX A11 TAXED +67 212
#note This one is already a laugher.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEFGHIW 7G W.IGH +26 108
#note Definitely not doing 7E WIF(E)D while I'm behind 2 bingoes. Nothing gives me a high win %, so let's be aggressive once again.
>Mack_Meller: AITVV L3 VIVAT +35 247
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEFILRZ D8 Z.RIL +48 156
#note Yep, ditch the Z. It's a very effective bingo killer just like it is a great scoring tile.
>Mack_Meller: MOU 5K O.UM +18 265
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEFOORT A6 TOF. +36 192
#note Hard call between this and E11 FORD setting up my O, there were still 3 more unseen Os and 3 more unseen Ss at this point, plus I'm scoring 8 more utilizing a very good scoring spot. I do win 3% more often after this than FORD, but it's still rather bleak.
>Mack_Meller: ACEL 3I CLA.E +26 291
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEGOOOR 8D .OO +16 208
#note Awful draw. I did correctly decide that (H)OODER* was phony, and I wasn't going to try that against someone rated over 2000. It also would have been bad for the board at my deficit. Would I try that against a 1000 rated player? Maybe. But not someone of his caliber. Looks ok.
>Mack_Meller: EHNRSTU M7 SHUNTER +89 380
#note I did not draw that S or Y that I had been searching for all game to claw back in this one. I feel like I'm going up against BestBot at this point.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEGORRS 8M .OG +21 229
#note Again, against someone rated much lower than 2000, maybe I'll try Aaron RODGERS*. I'm that desperate at this point to bingo. However, 8L SHOG can be justified seeing it's 19 more. If there was no meaningful S hook on this board, I would probably be more comfortable doing that.
>Mack_Meller: AQRT 10J TRA.Q +36 416
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADEERRS 14G READERS +73 302
#note Good spread cutter at least. But I'm not winning this game.
>Mack_Meller: IKN 13I KIN +28 444
#note Mack told me he didn't even bother blocking underneath READERS knowing there was 1 E left and I probably wasn't going to have a good reasponse. He could have also blocked with the TREADERS hook.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?AEJPUY 15D JAPErY +90 392
#note I'm not scoring anywhere near this much elsewhere, so this is an absolute beauty. Very happy to have found this play to cut spread even further.
>Mack_Meller: FILO E11 FOLI. +28 472
>Samuel_Kaplan: ABIMPUW 5E WAP +28 420
#note The problem with this was Mack wasn't going to allow me to get rid of my M and W with 12L M(E)W and PAM in the same spot was a problem for the same reason- 12L W(E)B was going to get blocked. Nothing good exists on Row 12 besides 12J MAB(E), but where am I getting rid of my P and W on the same turn?
>Mack_Meller: ADILNST N3 DA.N +21 493
#note Crap, I really thought CLAVED* was good! It was over at this point anyway. Add that to the list of word wars occurrences.
>Samuel_Kaplan: BIMU G12 MI.. +14 434
#note -6 to L10 (A)IM. #endgamelarge
>Mack_Meller: ILST O10 SILT +20 513
#note Good game buddy! It's never easy to come back against anyone who scores 212 points in the first 3 turns. But at least I made the game a lot closer than it was in the beginning. 3-2 -31.
>Mack_Meller: (BU) +8 521
