>Agnes_Kramer: ILOTV 8D VOLTI +24 24
>Arie_Sinke: EIIRRUY F6 RI.EY +18 18
#note Quackle thinks this is marginally better than exchanging.
>Agnes_Kramer: Y 9E Y. +10 34
>Arie_Sinke: AIKNNRU E3 KUNA +18 36
#note Uninspiring. I missed KNAUR 6B, which plays the same 4 tiles for an extra point. KNURR also looks better.
>Agnes_Kramer: ?ADLNSU H8 .NDUSiAL +77 111
>Arie_Sinke: AEINORW 9H .ANOWIRE +63 99
>Arie_Sinke: AEINORW -- -63 36
#note I decided to try to get away with a Collins word here and was punished for my boldness.
>Agnes_Kramer: ABEOPRS 12H .APROBES +76 187
>Arie_Sinke: AEINORW K6 IRONWA.E +72 108
#note Luckily for me I got an R.
>Agnes_Kramer: EGPRU O7 PURGE. +27 214
>Arie_Sinke: EFGHITV I11 H.FT +29 137
#note Probably better to just play FIGHT on either side of IRONARE for 26 here. The leave of EV is better than EGIV by enough of a margin for it to be worth it, apparently. I also don't want to block the A and the L.
>Agnes_Kramer: MOT J6 MOT +25 239
>Arie_Sinke: AEEGITV L4 VEGA +25 162
#note Don't like what this does to the board but I can't say no to the equity.
>Agnes_Kramer: MOT D4 MOT +23 262
>Arie_Sinke: AEIOORT G8 .AO +19 181
#note Significant miss of (MOT)I(V)ATOR D4 for 34 here. TAO is second best.
>Agnes_Kramer: ADF F2 FAD +27 289
>Arie_Sinke: CEIJORT N6 JO +29 210
#note Again, I can't say no to the equity. Maybe I can get a nine on row 14 through the AT.
>Agnes_Kramer: EGNOSSU 2F .ELLIEST +63 352
>Agnes_Kramer: EGNOSSU -- -63 289
>Arie_Sinke: CEINORT M9 COR.IN +26 236
#note This is phoney. I probably should go for CORBIE.
>Agnes_Kramer: EEILLST 15L ISLE +26 315
#note I need to challenge this.
>Arie_Sinke: ?EEIITW 4L .IEW +14 250
#note NEW 14M for 21 is surely better; I can handle keeping two Is here.
>Agnes_Kramer: DE G13 DE +16 331
>Arie_Sinke: ?CEHIRT O1 CHE. +36 286
#note I thought I was making up FlICHTER, which plays at 2F for 73. This is actually probably better anyhow. I don't have great odds if I bingo to go down by 8 and set up multiple good scoring spots.
>Agnes_Kramer: EEEGIQT 1M TI. +5 336
>Arie_Sinke: ?AGIRTZ 5B AG.. +5 291
#note I thought this was a pretty good attempt. I get ZERoTH a lot (I just need to get one E) and if I miss it I may end up setting up something for myself through the A (no guarantee that any block will be effective.) The problem with my play is that Agnes has the X 50% of the time, and when she has it I automatically lose by setting up a 50 point X play. Quackle likes GNAR 14L a lot better, and it's easy to see why - an E or B draw gives me ZIBETH 2J, and I draw one more tile towards that goal. The problem with GNAR is that Agnes will virtually always block. GRITH 2K is another option that Quackle likes, but it's hard to see how that wins.
>Agnes_Kramer: IQ 6A QI +17 353
>Arie_Sinke: ?EIRTUZ 2J ZERoT. +79 370
#note I thought this would be better than the alternatives (QUIZ, ZEnITH/ZIbETH) because a draw of ADNNS will give me some 36+ point play from the Q to keep the points coming. Quackle says just play QUIZ.
>Agnes_Kramer: BDELNNS G1 NEBS +33 386
>Arie_Sinke: AEIUX A6 .UAI +39 409
#note Should play QUA instead to retain both NIX 1G and XI B8.
>Agnes_Kramer: DLN 11G D.. +12 398
#note I allowed Agnes to get away with TAOD under time pressure.
>Arie_Sinke: EX 8A .X +9 418
>Agnes_Kramer: LN A6 ....L +14 412
>Arie_Sinke: E 1L E... +10 428
>Arie_Sinke: (N) +2 430
