>HeidiRobertson: AEHIKLM 8G HAMLIKE +92 92
>HeidiRobertson: AEHIKLM -- -92 0
>JoshuaSokol: ADEGLOZ H4 ZOEAL +48 48
#note switched to GLOZED and then switched back. It's very close between GLOZE, this, GLAZED, GLOZED and LAZOED. #questionable
>HeidiRobertson: AEHIKLM I3 MAKE +32 32
>JoshuaSokol: ADEEGIY J2 YAGE +40 88
#note this once again sucks considering what she had, but is top equity by so much over other plays, and she could miss (OKE)H or maybe doesn't know it. (ZA)IDY was another consideration and sims best. YAG 2nd best, this is 4 points back. I scored this as 39. #questionable
>HeidiRobertson: AAHILST K3 ASH +53 85
>JoshuaSokol: DEIIJOW G7 JEDI +41 129
>HeidiRobertson: ?AILORT 11B ORALIsT +74 159
>JoshuaSokol: CIIOPVW H11 .OPIC +30 159
#note WOP 10B was obvious, and yet I just hated the board and despised my letters after that. This is just bad. #strategymedium
>HeidiRobertson: AABILNS 10B BAL +25 184
>JoshuaSokol: CIIQUVW 10F Q. +62 221
#note this leave is -26.3 according to Quackle, and -28.8 according to Macondo
>HeidiRobertson: AEIINSU 13H .IU +6 190
>JoshuaSokol: CIINUVW 12D WIN +38 259
#note in the end I still get stuck with CIV
>HeidiRobertson: AEGINST 8F G..ATINES +61 251
>JoshuaSokol: BCDIUVV K7 V.VID +24 283
>HeidiRobertson: EHNNORT M1 ENTHRON. +74 325
>JoshuaSokol: BCEMORU 14J MUCRO +40 323
>JoshuaSokol: BEEINRT (challenge) +5 328
#note I was ready to challenge MUCROS, so this is a mistake, unless I think she won't hook an S. Just do MUCOR, a word I'm sure the hooks of.
>HeidiRobertson: DEFIORS 1L F.OD +36 361
>JoshuaSokol: BEEINRT C9 B..TER +29 357
#note the amazing (MAKE)B(A)TE is best here. I don't remember that word, but did notice possible extensions there, and failed to see any. #knowledgemedium
>HeidiRobertson: DEIRSU 14A DU. +8 369
>HeidiRobertson: DEIRSU -- -8 361
#note wow, these letters go at 9E, which is why playing VIN instead of WIN with QIN might have been ok, to allow WU(D) and (G)U(QIN) the turn after at a minimum
>JoshuaSokol: EINOPTW N6 WO.T +30 387
>JoshuaSokol: EEINPRS (challenge) +5 392
#note WE(S)T sims similarly well to this
>HeidiRobertson: ?DEIRSU O3 RUDE +12 373
>JoshuaSokol: EEINPRS O11 PEISE +34 426
>JoshuaSokol: EFGNRTY (challenge) +5 431
#note now I was hoping she'd just challenge PEISE, and not MUCROS, which I was still unsure of. EPRISE# is best. I have to give +5 again next turn to report the score accurately #knowledgemedium
>HeidiRobertson: ?AEILSU 15D AUrI.LES +67 440
#note I was shocked she bingo-ed here. Apparently her average bingo % is 1 after PEISE, but of course her rack is probably better than average. Still insane. I held UME# for a bit until I felt I could win in the endgame.
>JoshuaSokol: EFGNRTY 10J G.RT +9 440
>JoshuaSokol: EFNY (challenge) +5 445
#note and I was about to play G(E)NT 13B when I realized she had somehow drawn into AX(I)ON. And this was after I released the hold! Luckily she was about to go overtime, but this actually still loses to the optimal endgame sequence. The best play, which I don't know why I missed it, is TY(I)NG 10I, to guarantee an outplay. Once again, this is the other +5 from PEISE.
>HeidiRobertson: ANOX L10 .AX +23 463
#note 14C (R)AX wins by 2 after F(R)Y M13 and NO(B) A9. Never saw she had (R)AX, and could still have lost despite her time pressure.
>JoshuaSokol: EFNY 14A FE.NY +29 474
>JoshuaSokol: (NO) +4 478
#note this game is an example of the mountain I'm going to need to climb to be OK with the increased variance of CSW.
