#player1 Jonathan_Lindh Jonathan Lindh
#player2 Morris_Greenberg Morris Greenberg
>Jonathan_Lindh: FHIIPTT 8G PITH +18 18
#note 2024 Crescent City Cup. Round 6. Seems fine.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEEEITW G5 TAW.IE +16 16
#note I didn't like how the EEW, EEEW, and AWEE opened exactly 1 scoring spot for Jonatha (I wasn't sure of WEE(P)IE), and prefered giving myself a spot after Jonathan takes the other here. Quackle likes 7I EEW or EEEW.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AFIOTUX F4 TUFA +35 53
#note Best. I was convinced Morris' last play was a Z setup. It wasn't. I also debated playing OUTFIX*.
>Morris_Greenberg: EEILNNP E7 PINENE +24 40
#note JL: I briefly held this play and released. This word looks funny as a singular.

MG: I like how this closes the game a bit for now and turns over tiles. I chose this over PENILE because I thought the 8A hotspot is much more damped after this play. Fwiw Quackle much prefers PENNE H1 or the very pretty qapik of PENN(I) H4 which I missed over the board.
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEIOOVX H1 VOICE +42 95
#note 2nd best. I never saw 5E OUTVOICE for 52 or I would have played it.
>Morris_Greenberg: ABDELTY D8 BATED +41 81
#note I wasn't 100% if BAYED was valid, and I liked the LY leave with the hefty PITHY hook available anyways. The 9 extra points are worth it for BAYED if I am 100%.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EGJMNOX E3 GEM +26 121
#note Don't know why I didn't play C7 JOG for 32. I was very focused on E5. I may have been hoping for an A and an R or a T to make JET plays. Note, EMOJI go blocked.
>Morris_Greenberg: DELSSTY 5E ....DLY +26 107
#note JL: I think Morris said this was his rack.

MG: I somehow overlooked the H10 STYLED for 44 points, I considered the K6 and 11G spots but prefered this play. Quackle agrees, though understandably likes the H10 STYLED (which I am guessing I would have played had I considered it).
>Jonathan_Lindh: GIJLNOX H10 LOXING +68 189
#note Best.
>Morris_Greenberg: ?EMSSST K8 SySTEMS +76 183
#note JL: All of the top bingos are 76 and this is one of the most defensive options.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?GIJLNU 15A JUgGLIN. +104 293
#note Best.
>Morris_Greenberg: AABORST C3 RABATOS +81 264
#note JL: Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEEIOOV J2 VIO.A +18 311
#note When I saw this pull, I knew I might be in trouble. VIOLA is only slighlty behind VOILA and VOILE in the same spot. I like VOILE to hold an A for B5.
>Morris_Greenberg: DORRUWZ 2J .ROUW +22 286
#note Just trying to create a diversion while I vie for the A's and E's along column 2.
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEEEILO L12 LEI +16 327
#note Right idea, wrong execution. L11 OLEIC for 32 is best. I couldn;t find it. Even if I find OLEIC, I may still be in trouble after Morris' next play.
>Morris_Greenberg: ADDEHRZ B4 DAZE +74 360
#note JL: I was afraid of something like that going down.
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEEIOOR A7 RICE +21 348
#note A1 CERO for 26 apparently, but everything looks bad at this point. If Morris drew the Q, I'm toast.
>Morris_Greenberg: ADHKOQR M1 Q.ARK +36 396
#note JL: He drew the Q.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ENOORRY C11 YON +22 370
#note I was trying to play defense on B10, but Quackle says A1 RENO for 20. nothing wins.
>Morris_Greenberg: ADEHNOU B10 HEN +39 435
#note JL: My defense didn't even work. HEN is best. I was hoping Morris would miss the overlaps down here.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EFORR A4 OF +19 389
#note I had Morris mistracked, but somehow I made the best play. I thought I was blocking ARVO to go out.
>Morris_Greenberg: ADOU I12 UDO +22 457
#note JL: Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ERR 13K ..RER +14 403
#note Best. I didn't even see this play when I first played OF. I stumbled into the best endgame here.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (A) +2 405
#note A better player could have gotten this one closer, but like the Chris Cheng game, I'm not sure this one was winnable for me.
