>David_Pearl: AOQTU 8D QUOTA +48 48
>Arie_Sinke: BIINNOT 9C BIN +21 21
#note I missed NONQUOTA here. The leave after NONQUOTA is obviously quite poor but I can't turn down the points.
>David_Pearl: JO 10B JO +29 77
>Arie_Sinke: INNOTUW B10 .UNTO +24 45
#note I thought I would be better off keeping the W with a play like WINO than keeping the U with a bunch of one pointers after something like NOW/OWN/WINO under JO. JUNTO also scores an extra point. The sim thinks that NOW is the correct play by a small but statistically significant margin. I am not 100% convinced that JUNTO is wrong; particularly with a deficit I can't allow the board to become too constricted.
>David_Pearl: AAV 9H AVA +12 89
>Arie_Sinke: BCINRTW 10J WRIT +28 73
#note I thought it would be justified to score a few extra points here and keep the board as open as possible at the expense of a significantly worse leave. Quackle thinks that BRAW J7 for 17 is justified. The nice thing about BRAW is that it creates an N hook that I have.
>David_Pearl: EINOR 11G IRONE +20 109
>Arie_Sinke: BCEHILN 8J LICHEN +49 122
#note The alternative is BLENCH in the same spot for 2 more points. It does look like a slightly better play; a lone I is a better leave than a lone B and scoring two extra points is always a good thing.
>David_Pearl: EIVW 12K VIEW +26 135
>Arie_Sinke: BCRSTUX O12 STUB +33 155
#note Rack legibility problems here; pretty sure this is what I had. This looks fine.
>David_Pearl: ISYZ 15B SIZY +39 174
>Arie_Sinke: ADEIIRX H11 .ADIX +42 197
#note This looks fine. WAX N12 scores 4 extra points but keeps a worse leave.
>David_Pearl: EF 13M FE. +27 201
>Arie_Sinke: EHIPRSY D12 PHI. +36 233
#note This looks fine. Nothing else scores comparably.
>David_Pearl: EGM E11 GEM +23 224
>Arie_Sinke: AEERRSY 7E RYE +18 251
#note I realized that I was creating an opening on a tight board with a small lead - generally not a great idea - but the timing was right for it; my leave is great and I would like to bingo. This sets up an easy spot for sevens on a board where any seven would otherwise be unplayable. The play is so good for static equity that it automatically does well in the sim.
>David_Pearl: MORT 14J MORT +18 242
>Arie_Sinke: AEKLRRS 6G LARKERS +74 325
#note Only bingo.
>David_Pearl: EGT 5E TEG +13 255
>David_Pearl: EGT -- -13 242
>Arie_Sinke: ?AAAGLO 9M ALA +15 340
#note This play is extremely and perhaps unnecessarily defensive. I prvevent most bingos to the N but still potentially leave myself vulnerable to nines like EPISTERNA. No idea if plays like this are actually right.
>David_Pearl: ACDG K2 CADG. +18 260
>Arie_Sinke: ?AGLNOS 4D SLOGANe. +70 410
#note This is a small equity error - something like GONDOLAS or GOLDARNS would get 4 more points. I can't really lose here so defense is not that important a consideration.
>David_Pearl: FO 15J OF +14 274
>Arie_Sinke: DEEEEIO N7 D..E +17 427
#note Not much to think about in this endgame, this play looks right.
>David_Pearl: ?DENPTU 3H PED.NT +29 303
>Arie_Sinke: EEEIO G14 OE +13 440
>David_Pearl: ?U 2K .Ue +7 310
