>Jackson: IIMNRSS N6 SIMRINS +74 99
#note not a word. SIMLINS is close to this. sometimes the feeling is right and you close your eyes and dont question it
>Michael_Fagen: CDERRRT H4 CR...R +11 118
>Jackson: BHKLSSU O12 HULK +54 153
#note its the third turn and already I got case Ss. With CRATER virtually unblockable, I was feelin pretty fine
>Michael_Fagen: ADEIRTZ O7 TIED +34 152
#note good recognition on Michael's part to not fish here with ZIP or anything, or YEZ (though YEZ is very reasonable). TIED sims best
>Jackson: BGLNNSS L4 SN.B +10 163
#note dont love parting with one of the Ss, but in a way its okay because of craters' unblockability - that means I can happily wait to use the spot and wait to use it for a bingo, which means I wont get a ton of value from the second S unless I use it in the meantime. Either way seems right to just go for bingo % now, and GLNS does that well. GLOBS is a reasonable play as well
>Michael_Fagen: ADFLRTZ J2 TARD.L. +21 173
#note another great play by michael - not only is this a beautiful setup normally, after I show my hand with a strong S rack, it counters my bingoes really well
>Jackson: AAGLNNS 10B LANGANS +71 234
#note another phony whose validity I decided to not think about too hard
>Michael_Fagen: AFIINVZ I1 FIZ +48 221
>Jackson: EEGMORY D8 MO.EY +26 260
#note tons of vowels, namely Es and Os, in the pool. This will really shape the rest of the decisions this game
>Michael_Fagen: AAEINOV M9 AVIAN +37 258
>Jackson: EEFGILR L11 GRIEF +46 306
#note strongly considered FEEL for 8 fewer since GIR is way better than EL with this pool. Still, the 8 points helps enough to make GRIEF worth playing anyway
>Michael_Fagen: EEOOOQU 2F QUO.. +34 292
>Jackson: CEEIJLO K13 JOE +27 333
#note Michael has been struggling with the E and O problem, but has had just enough firepower with his remaining tiles to stay in the game. Another turn where it is of utmost importance to shed Os and Es
>Michael_Fagen: BEEOORU 8A BRU.E +27 319
#note In this position, I think DONE might be called for - with Es and Os remaining still, OOE is not going to be good enough to squeak out this endgame where he's down a solid tempo.
>Jackson: ACDEEIL 3C CEDI +25 358
#note (G)LACE is a nice play to set up the D. I think that's probably the play. I was worried about PEE(P) at K3, and GLACE does a better job of outrunning that. I am still in a pretty good position after PEEP, since it leaves 4 in the bag and I can play 3 tiles to be in command. Still though, AEL can go south and I can lose some of those games. I liked CEDI to block some rare bingoes, especially cause BRUME suggested to me a more consonant heavy rack, since I felt he wouldn't shed his R willy nilly. CEDI is nice for these reasons, but I think PEEP + drawing badly is a bigger threat than bingoes even given the consideration of range, so GLACE is probably the better play in the end.
>Michael_Fagen: AEEHOOT M3 THE.A +32 351
>Jackson: AELOPWW 4D WO +23 381
#note the Os and Es finally catch up to Michael, and thankfully I was able to avoid drawing too many at once.
>Michael_Fagen: EEOOOOT 5J .O.. +18 369
>Jackson: AELNPUW 5C PEW +36 417
#note wanted SHA to be right but nah. EW ends up being the best endgame, 2 ahead of this
>Michael_Fagen: EEEOOOT N2 TOO +14 383
