>Wes_Eddings: IJNOS 8D JOINS +40 40
>Arie_Sinke: ADEIIOR D8 .IAO +11 11
#note Quackle likes OI vastly better here. It's not necessarily because ADEIR is that much better than DEIR - ADEIR is apparently only about 1 point better in a vacuum, and the higher scoring position of OI (9D for 13) only scores 2 more, so it must be due to positional considerations. I guess the ADEIR leave goes well with the N and the S as floaters and setting up plays on columns C and E is unideal.
>Wes_Eddings: ANUY E11 YUAN +24 64
>Arie_Sinke: ACDEINR 13A RADI.NCE +78 89
#note This looks a bit better than either position of CRANNIED - RADIANCE sets up a lot, but so does CRANNIED, and RADIANCE scores 2 more.
>Wes_Eddings: EFGIORV H1 FORGIVE. +101 165
>Arie_Sinke: ABEGKLR H12 K.RB +45 134
#note This looks right.
>Wes_Eddings: ELOVY A10 OVE.LY +39 204
>Arie_Sinke: ADEGLNZ 5E AGN.ZED +72 206
#note I have a tough bingo here - GANZFELD 1D for 74. It only scores 2 more than AGNIZED but there's no reason not to play it - AGNIZED isn't any better positionally and the leave of L is basically neutral.
>Wes_Eddings: CNO 8A CON..... +51 255
>Arie_Sinke: EFLPSTW 6J WEFT +34 240
#note WOLF B7 for 31 wins the sim by a meaningful margin - it scores 3 fewer points but it really helps the leave to hang onto the E.
>Wes_Eddings: ADEIOST C1 SEDATIO. +70 325
>Arie_Sinke: EILMPRS N6 SIMPLER +78 318
#note Only bingo.
>Wes_Eddings: ITX B4 TIX +55 380
>Arie_Sinke: AEHIMOQ 1A QI. +36 354
#note I can probably afford to hang on to the Q here. There are three unseen Us in addition to the two blanks, and I can get a few more points with plays like HOMA 8L for 39 or MASHIE 1A for 45. A high scoring Q play could get me back into the game without a bingo.
>Wes_Eddings: ?EELPRT 10H PRETEL.s +61 441
>Arie_Sinke: AAEHMOU O8 MA.H +51 405
#note I elect to take as many points as possible and try to get close enough to win with a single bingo. This looks fine but HOMA 8L, which gives up 12 points to hang on to a vowel, is probably comparable.
>Wes_Eddings: ADGINOR 15H .OARDING +92 533
>Arie_Sinke: AEHOSTU 3H .ATHOUSE +74 479
>Arie_Sinke: AEHOSTU -- -74 405
#note I genuinely believed that this high probability CSW only bingo was in NWL and was surprised that Wes challenged it off.
>Wes_Eddings: UW L13 WU. +7 540
>Arie_Sinke: AEHOSTU G1 ETA +14 419
#note I thought this was a good block but in theory it actually only decreases Wes's odds of bingoing from 4/8 to 2/8. He has rEFUTABLE 1F now if an E is in the bag - without blocking he has multiple bingos with either an E or the U in the bag, and REgULATE which HOE 4J blocks. Because of this factor CP says I do better on the whole by taking the points with HOE, though one could argue that he is more likely to bingo than usual after a fish.
>Wes_Eddings: ?AEELTU 2G ..LUATEs +18 558
>Arie_Sinke: BHOSU D2 HOB +34 453
#note This is fine.
>Wes_Eddings: E 13L .E +10 568
