#player2 Deen_Hergott Deen Hergott
>Arie_Sinke: EEGLTUU -EGUU +0 0
#note Very close in the sim between exchanging and playing GLUTE. 16 points is a lot to give up on an opening play but the EU leave after GLUTE is poor, and GLUTE creates a lot of openings.
>Deen_Hergott: AILW 8G WAIL +14 14
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEGLT 9B GELATED +70 70
#note Or LEGATED, or possibly above WAIL. It's too close for there to be a meaningful difference between the various options - but GELATED is probably generally better to make immediate access to the triple marginally more difficult.
>Deen_Hergott: DINORSU K2 DURIONS +74 88
>Arie_Sinke: BCDEHPY J6 BE.CH +38 108
#note It looks slightly better to play BY J5 for 32 instead, with the more developed leave of CDEPH being worth the small point sacrifice (I will often get PECH 7F next turn for 38.) PECH is second best, probably because I often respond with BY. After BELCH I have nothing planned for next turn.
>Deen_Hergott: AEUX K10 EAUX +27 115
>Arie_Sinke: DEJOPWY 4F POWDE.Y +40 148
#note This looks right. I would like to play the J but JOYPAD E5 is too dangerous.
>Deen_Hergott: EIOSTUV D6 OUT.IVES +74 189
>Arie_Sinke: AEJORTU 3G JOE +45 193
#note This looks right.
>Deen_Hergott: ?AEINRY B2 RElAYIN. +88 277
>Arie_Sinke: AIRRSTU 11D .IRTU +16 209
#note TURR L12 for 23 is a top simming and very interesting choice. Deen will usually respond by taking out the R and I will likely get a 40ish point play down column M with XIS, and the whole sequence may have the effect of opening up new corners of the board. VIRTU is the boring normie play that wins for static eval but I probably need to try to be a bit creative here with a 84 point deficit to make up.
>Deen_Hergott: EPZ A1 ZEP +48 325
>Arie_Sinke: ?ACEQRS 12J Q.A +24 233
#note I don't really want to burn the blank for 20 extra points with Qi A7 when that play doesn't create an opening, and my play kind of does. Sim likes it but sim doesn't realize how likely a human expert is to be defensive with a lead.
>Deen_Hergott: IILNOV M8 VIOLIN +33 358
>Arie_Sinke: ?ACEFRS N10 FA +28 261
#note This looks like a significant error - I should probably add the S for an extra 15 points. FAS only allows blocks of column O with a T or an F, whereas FA allows it to be blocked easily with most racks. I also need those 15 points to get myself within 1 bingo range.
>Deen_Hergott: ABDOR O11 DOBRA +31 389
>Arie_Sinke: ?CEEIRS C1 REC +27 288
#note I missed dESCRIES 13B for 72 here - I should probably have looked a bit harder.
>Deen_Hergott: GHRT H1 GR..TH +39 428
>Arie_Sinke: ?EEINNS 8M .IN +18 306
#note I have given up and I'm autopiloting this. This play is probably okay. Maybe NIX 13I instead.
>Deen_Hergott: IMST 5E MIT.S +32 460
>Arie_Sinke: ?EEFLNS 13A FrE.NELS +72 378
#note Best bingo (SENSEFuL is also available.)
>Deen_Hergott: AGKMNOT A6 OKA +38 498
>Arie_Sinke: AO A11 OA. +7 385
#note Best out.
>Arie_Sinke: (MGNT) +14 399
