>Arie_Sinke: ?ANRUVW 8G VAW +18 18
#note This looks right - nothing much to consider here.
>Zach_Ansell: DNO 9H DON +14 14
>Arie_Sinke: ?ENPRSU K5 PUNtERS +87 105
#note There are several options that play for 87 at K5. This one isn't best - something like PRUnERS is hard to overlap and the r is hard to hit the triple from.
>Zach_Ansell: ?CEINOR 10B COINERs +69 83
>Arie_Sinke: AEIILLY 8K .ELIA +15 120
#note This is a weak second or third best. ALIENLY E6 for 20 looks like the play - it just scores a little bit more than the alternatives and leaves comparably.
>Zach_Ansell: FFV D9 V.FF +26 109
>Arie_Sinke: GILOTYY B10 .OYLY +26 146
#note This looks best - leave isn't that good but it scores enough to be clearly better than any other play.
>Zach_Ansell: DGIL 6J G.ILD +15 124
>Arie_Sinke: BGIKORR N8 .RK +17 163
#note Tough position. I feel like I don't excel at these positions where there are a number of uninspiring options and you have to optimize as well as you can. Here, OK A14 for 23 wins the sim despite the very bad BGIRR leave. I would have a very hard time making a play like that and I'm not exactly 100% convinced that it's best, but there's no denying that my leave of BGIOR is also not great - though surely better than BGIRR by a large margin. Setting up a spot for sixes probably doesn't help; IRK L11 also does well in the sim relative to my play. No clue how to evaluate this sort of position other than to try to get as many points as possible while keeping the leave non-horrific.
>Zach_Ansell: AACDER O10 ARCADE +42 166
>Arie_Sinke: ABGIIOR N13 BIO +22 185
#note This looks fine.
>Zach_Ansell: AEMT A12 MEAT +44 210
>Arie_Sinke: AEGIIOR J11 AGIO +9 194
#note This was a truly ill advised play. I am not desperate enough yet to want this high level of volatility. I thought I was. Racks like this can improve if you're patient. GOA M112 for 22 leaves a pretty bad leave but at least it doesn't create a massive one turn spot for bingos or scoring plays with an S.
>Zach_Ansell: HLOT M12 HOLT +31 241
>Arie_Sinke: EEINRSU 12L U. +10 204
#note No idea what to do. Quackle likes this but Quackle probably overvalues fishing. Probably saner to just play something like URINES. I really have no idea.
>Zach_Ansell: BEISZ 15F BIZES +54 295
>Arie_Sinke: EEEINRS 11D .ERE +22 226
#note Now things are looking extremely bleak - down 91 on a dead board. I chose this over NEE to increase my odds of getting MINXES/JINXES - probably my best route back into the game.
>Zach_Ansell: HNT 12F NTH +16 311
>Arie_Sinke: EEINNSU O1 ENNUIS +29 255
#note Probably my best chance now is to open a few lines for eights and hope Zach can't bock effectively.
>Zach_Ansell: ATX 14E TAX +27 338
>Arie_Sinke: AEGIOTW 2J WIGEO. +36 291
#note Best.
>Zach_Ansell: DEIM 1H IDEM +30 368
>Arie_Sinke: AAPQRTU 2D QUART +18 309
#note I realized that this was better than something like QAT 2F for 34, which isn't an out in two, but I didn't spot my best endgame play of PRAT 2E, which allows me to play off the Q in multiple spots to go out next turn (best is EQUAL M2.)
>Zach_Ansell: EJOST M1 J.ST +22 390
>Arie_Sinke: AP I13 AP. +13 322
#note APP 5J scores one more point.
>Arie_Sinke: (EO) +4 326
