>Arie_Sinke: EEIMNTX 8G MIX +24 24
#note EX wins the sim by a small margin but probably a statistically significant one. It would appear that I bingo substantially more often after it. I always have a hard time opening with a dinky looking two that can easily be overlapped defensively but it seems called for here.
>David_Pearl: DHITU J5 DHUTI +30 30
>Arie_Sinke: EEILNNT K4 TEIN +21 45
#note LENIENT got blocked. My play looks reasonable; Quackle wants me to fish for 10 points with N but I don't really care for that.
>David_Pearl: BDLO L3 BOLD +29 59
>Arie_Sinke: AEEILNY M2 AIYEE +43 88
#note The leave is a bit of a sacrifice but this scores enough to be worth it.
>David_Pearl: OOW N2 WOO +34 93
>Arie_Sinke: AIJLMNP 7E JIMP +31 119
#note Looks best.
>David_Pearl: AENOV O4 NOVAE +36 129
>Arie_Sinke: AELNORW E7 .OWAR +30 149
#note Looks best.
>David_Pearl: ABRSU 12A BURAS +36 165
>Arie_Sinke: AELNRTT A12 .LAT +18 167
#note Looks best. LABRET/TABLET for 6 more isn't worth the sacrifice in leave.
>David_Pearl: ??DEGOT C6 GOaThE.D +70 235
>Arie_Sinke: EIKNRST N8 REKNITS +94 261
#note Best bingo.
>David_Pearl: OY F9 OY +31 266
>Arie_Sinke: CCEEEGI M12 GEE +17 278
#note Tough draw. GEE does surprisingly well in a sim but EPIGEIC H6 for 15, which totally cleans out the rack and leaves CE, looks like a better play.
>David_Pearl: AHN K9 NAH +14 280
>Arie_Sinke: CCEILVZ 14J VIC.. +18 296
#note This looks like the right call.
>David_Pearl: EFGLPSU B11 F.EL +27 307
>Arie_Sinke: CEFLNQZ F6 Q. +31 327
#note Obvious no brainer play.
>David_Pearl: GIOPSSU 10J S.G +18 325
>Arie_Sinke: CEFLNRZ 8C .Z. +21 348
#note This is a really weak play that probably ends up costing me the game. I didn't think about DIAZO, but David will get that very often and I will hardly ever get it, especially considering that I'm only playing one tile. CLaRO 8A is the clear sim winner. In general, the better simming plays hang on to the Z here - it seems reasonably likely that I will eventually get a better way to dispose of it.
>David_Pearl: ADIOPSU 8A DI... +42 367
>Arie_Sinke: CEFLNRR O11 EF +22 370
#note I was surprised to see DIaZO go down and feared I may have cost myself the game. I then proceeded to make this weak play. I should probably just exchange here, but I thought I needed the points. I noted that the pool is vowel heavy and that this rack is likely to get bailed out, but even a one consonant draw will leave me in a very awkward position going into the endgame from a deficit.
>David_Pearl: AANRU B2 ANURA +19 386
>Arie_Sinke: CELNPRR 4A P.RL +18 388
#note There is no way for me to steal a win with optimal play from both sides. My best play of CURLER 4A should lose by 5.
>David_Pearl: AEIOSTU A1 STO.E +27 413
>Arie_Sinke: CENR - +0 388
#note I'm basically forced to challenge STOPE here because I win if it's not good. I didn't seriously believe that STOPE was phoney.
>David_Pearl: AIU A8 .UI +4 417
>Arie_Sinke: CENR 2A ..NREC +14 402
