>David_Spargo: AIMOW H8 MIAOW +28 28
>Arie_Sinke: EGPSTWZ G7 ZEP +38 38
#note I didn't realize how interesting this position was - ZEP scores at least nine more points than the second highest scoring alternative, but several other plays sim higher, including ZIG 9G for 25, GAWP 10G for 16, and WEPT G7 for 29. It looks like the leave of GSTW is really bad - it actually has a negative value of -4.2 despite having an S in it - and it may pay to go for a better rack balancing play like ZIG here. I am not 100% convinced that this is true.
>David_Spargo: ENOX I8 OXEN +48 76
>Arie_Sinke: EGIPSTW 11D WIGE.. +20 58
#note Lots of close options here - WEPT G11 for 23 may be a bit better than the alternatives. Exchanging GW is surprisingly viable.
>David_Spargo: AAQU 10A AQUA +38 114
>Arie_Sinke: AGIPRST 12A PITA +30 88
#note This looks best.
>David_Spargo: NSU B10 .U.NS +28 142
>Arie_Sinke: EFGHORS 13E FROSH +27 115
#note SHOG 13H for 23 is the sim winner, which is surprising. I can only surmise that I must draw some play at 14J for 45-50 next turn just often enough for it to be worth it - I would need to pull an I or an O at minimum and not have it blocked. Also, SHOGI may be my friend here with a deficit. OGREISH E7 for 32 would have been a nice find; I would have played that if I had seen it. Most of my options other than SHOG (which sims 3 points ahead) sim within 2-3 points of each other.
>David_Spargo: BCIO A6 COBI. +27 169
>Arie_Sinke: BCEGJOR -BGJ +0 115
#note This is surprisingly the right play here. All my non-zero scoring options are terrible.
>David_Spargo: ADEESTY 15B YEASTED +104 273
>Arie_Sinke: CEENORT 14I ENCORE +25 140
#note I felt like extreme aggression was called for here - I am unlikely to make up this deficit without getting very lucky fast, might as well throw the board open and hope David didn't draw an S or a blank.
>David_Spargo: BELO 13L LOBE +22 295
>Arie_Sinke: DEEIIMT 15L TEEM +33 173
#note I couldn't conceptualize how I would win if I didn't keep the points coming here. Maybe something like MILO L11 or CITIED 6A for 12 or 15 to keep my options open would be called for here. The problem is that they're too easy to control. I'm hoping to somehow draw something to the E and then luck into a second bingo.
>David_Spargo: GGNU O9 GUNG. +9 304
>Arie_Sinke: ADFIIIV 11K DIVA. +18 191
#note Thought I would give this a try - the D works as well as anything with FII because there are a lot of IFIED words. I want to play a few tiles to go for the blanks but I'm not ready to exchange and score zero quite yet.
>David_Spargo: ?EEKORR K4 bROKERE. +74 378
>Arie_Sinke: AAFIILY L1 FLAY +36 227
#note I may have a very slim chance of winning after this if I pull a 3x3 and David has seven consonants. I don't think anything else gives me hope.
>David_Spargo: ADHLNRT M2 AH +22 400
>Arie_Sinke: ADIIINT 1L .AIN +27 254
#note I have no chance here, just playing for spread.
>David_Spargo: JO J6 JO +56 456
>Arie_Sinke: DIILTTV 8G ...T.D +21 275
#note Best spread play.
>David_Spargo: ?DILNRS 7A .R +2 458
>Arie_Sinke: IILLTTV C4 LILT +9 284
#note There is no way for me to totally prevent David from bingoing. My play cuts spread almost as well as possible while forcing him to find hIRUDINS, a very missable bingo. VILLA 2I scores 10 and plays more tiles and is technically a better endgame play by one point.
>David_Spargo: ?DINRSU N1 .RID +22 480
>Arie_Sinke: ITV 9M VI. +11 295
#note Best.
>David_Spargo: ?NSU D2 UNiS +10 490
#note He went over by one minute and lost 10 points.
>David_Spargo: (T) +2 492
