>Trenton_Charlson: AGOY 8G YOGA +16 16
>Arie_Sinke: ?JLLNRT J7 J.RL +13 13
#note This looks right. Leaves like RT? are better than LNT? but JARL gets 13 points right now.
>Trenton_Charlson: ?CDOORU G1 CORDUrO. +65 81
>Arie_Sinke: ?EILNTT 3F T.oTLINE +66 79
#note Amazingly, this is my highest scoring bingo. I looked for a long time for something better to no avail. Quackle thinks it's a bit better to forgo the bingo and play TINCT 1D for 24 points. It gives up 42, which is a lot, but retains two good tiles with the blank and takes out the C. I'm not 100% convinced that forgoing the bingo is the way to go here.
>Trenton_Charlson: ENORTW 1G .ROWNET +39 120
>Arie_Sinke: DEEMNPW 5G .NMEWED +26 105
#note Very close between this and DEW 4K, which scores the same. I prefer a one-tile leave to something kind of awkward like EMNP.
>Trenton_Charlson: ABIO 10F ABOI. +9 129
>Arie_Sinke: BDLLOPX 11D BOX +33 138
#note A few options are close. LOX instead might be a good option to retain more scoring potential with a leave that's unlikely to bingo. PLOD 11E for 23 also may be slightly better than my play. Quackle inexplicably likes the alternate lower scoring placement of BOX (11F) - don't know why - maybe because I get PILLBOX a lot.
>Trenton_Charlson: FO 9E OF +18 147
>Arie_Sinke: DHILLNP 12C HIP +28 166
#note This play isn't very good. BLIND D11 for 20 is available and looks best, and a bunch of other options in the 12C spot that keep the H for scoring look a bit better than HIP.
>Trenton_Charlson: OPU 10B UPO +12 159
>Arie_Sinke: ACDLLNY 8A YCLAD +39 205
#note This looks best, a marginal improvement over either of the other two plays in the spot, CANDY and DALLY. It's worth it to play YCLAD over CANDY to keep LN instead of LL, and DALLY gives up too many points.
>Trenton_Charlson: AFGIRST 6L FAG +19 178
>Arie_Sinke: EEIILNV 4A LIVENE. +26 231
#note I liked this play because it obstructed bingos to YCLAD and turned over a lot of tiles to draw an S, meaning that Trenton will have to either bingo immediately with FAGS or make it likely that I take out the spot. Quackle likes VIE 13A for 22 to make it likelier that I bingo immediately, not sure I'm so keen on that, especially after several consecutive plays make me believe that Trenton's leave is good.
>Trenton_Charlson: AEKMRS O1 MAKERS +47 225
>Arie_Sinke: EHIIRTZ 13B ZIT +40 271
#note This looks okay, but Quackle really wants me to play HI C12 for 10, setting up HERTZ 14B for 80 at a minimum, and possibly ZITHERN. It only sims slightly better than ZIT, and Trenton is very likely to block the spot, so I believe that ZIT is likely better.
>Trenton_Charlson: GI B13 .IG +26 251
>Arie_Sinke: EHIRSTU 15B .USHIER +36 307
#note Here my goal is to build a large enough lead that I can withstand a bingo and outrun. Quackle thinks it's marginally better to play UGH for 21 instead. It's kind of stylistic but it does seem that it's clear that UGH is a bit better. GRUSHIE is also an option - no idea how to evaluate between that and GUSHIER.
>Trenton_Charlson: AEEEQSS F14 Q. +31 282
>Arie_Sinke: AENNSTV B2 VA.N +14 321
#note Hard to tell what the best play is. I saw that the pool was quite vowel heavy and decided that I needed to keep a more consonant heavy leave like ENST. I also noted that if Trenton bingoed, he may end up drawing three vowels and I could steal the win with an out in two. Sim likes VAIN for spread but seems to like five tile plays for winning% (like VANNEr) - I get that - he would have to bingo now or never.
>Trenton_Charlson: ADEIRST 14H ASTRIDE +72 354
>Arie_Sinke: AAEINST C3 A.E +18 339
#note This is actually a huge error that could have cost me the game - it sets up VEE 2B (with EAVE) which scores enough for him to win. AVA in the same spot is my only way to win with optimal play from both sides.
