>Matt_Canik: BCNOUUY H7 BOUNCY +34 34
#note This play looks right.
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEIVX G9 XI +36 36
#note I might want to consider VIXEN 10D instead for 31 - the plays are quite close in the sim, with VIXEN slightly ahead. My play sets up a spot for the V next turn, but realistically that will usually get blocked. I guess it's a question of whether it's worth giving up five points to get rid of the V. Quackle seems to think that it is, barely.
>Matt_Canik: AABCEOU F10 BEAU +23 57
#note Matt's play looks good.
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEJNV 12C JAV. +28 64
#note This is clearly right.
>Matt_Canik: ACGIOTW 13B COW +39 96
#note Looks right despite setting up a front S hook.
>Arie_Sinke: ADEEENN 12H .EANED +20 84
#note I burn through a lot of good tiles with this play. Quackle suggests playing EN 14C for 18 instead for a more developed leave - not sure I concur; I'm behind by a small margin so creating a few floaters may help me get back in the game faster, and EN sets up two hooks that I don't have (S and Y.)
>Matt_Canik: ?AGIITZ 11J ZITI +46 142
#note This play looks right.
>Arie_Sinke: AEENUVY I6 AYE +23 107
#note Here I can't get rid of the V without creating significant openings, so I opt to retain it. This doesn't look best, but most of the sim winners also retain the V. The play that I feel most drawn to is YUAN 10K for 22, which does create an S hook but seems to bail out more of my bad tiles than anything else without sacrificing much in score. Quackle wants me to save more scoring potential with EAU 14C for 19. It's close.
>Matt_Canik: ?AADGOO J3 GOAD +17 159
#note This looks fine - he could also consider GOA somewhere to retain a consonant but this looks better.
>Arie_Sinke: EINRUUV -UUV +0 107
#note Quackle doesn't think it's worth exchanging here - I should play through it with UNROVE 4G for 20.
>Matt_Canik: ?ADLOPT 14F TADPOLe +72 231
#note Best bingo
>Arie_Sinke: EEEINNR 3H EN.INEER +70 177
#note Only bingo.
>Matt_Canik: EFIKLST 15L FILK +53 284
#note Given the outcome of the game, this play was called into question - for what it's worth, Quackle likes it.
>Arie_Sinke: EILOPRT O1 PO.TLIER +149 326
#note Only 3x3.
>Matt_Canik: EILOQST 6N Q. +31 315
>Arie_Sinke: ?AADFGH 15G HAAF +53 379
#note Best by far.
>Matt_Canik: EILOSTU A7 OUTLIES +83 398
#note Best bingo.
>Arie_Sinke: ?DGGHSW H1 SH.W +42 421
#note Clearly best.
>Matt_Canik: EINOSTV D11 V.. +9 407
#note Matt is only down by a small margin of 23 (and due to a ten point addition error, he thinks he's only down by 13.) He can win without bingoing and should probably take a few extra points here with VINO B6 for 21 or VIE 7M for 21.
>Arie_Sinke: ?DEGGIU 1A DrUGGIE. +86 507
>Matt_Canik: EEINOST C12 ..E +10 417
#note Matt will draw a bingo 100% of the time, and since most of his bingos play in two places (unless he draws a T or an S) it is very likely that he will bingo next turn. That being said, victory is basically out of reach for him due to his deficit.
>Arie_Sinke: ANORRST D1 .RANTORS +70 577
#note GRANTORS is the only bingo.
>Matt_Canik: EIMNOST B3 SENTIMO +69 486
#note Matt could play MENTIONS L1 for 78 (9 extra points) and legitimately hit 500 with his loss. Since the score was off by 10 points, we submitted a score of 577-506 and thought that Matt had lost with a 500 point game.
