#player1 Matt Matt
#player2 Mack Mack
>Matt: DILOOWY H4 WOODILY +86 86
#note Not a word. I was like 70% sure it was phony, and I would've challenged if I didn't have a bingo back, but my position is already basically dead if I lose a turn and he blocks the Y, so felt I needed to accept my unsureness and let it stay. Of course, the best solution here would be to start studying again and know for sure if this were good! :)
>Mack: AEGIPRT 10D PTER.GIA +68 68
>Matt: ?GGIIST L8 BUNGEE +39 125
>Matt: ?GGIIST -- -39 86
#note I know my 9s better than my 7s sometimes lol. I was 100% sure that PTERYGIA took only an L.
>Mack: AAIJRST E10 .AJ +20 88
#note Could do 11K AJI, but was sort of baiting him to play 11K BEGUN so I'd have a shot at a 3*3...
>Matt: BEGNU 11K BEGUN +24 110
>Mack: AIKORST I2 TROIKAS +82 170
#note He played BEGUN as I'd hoped, but I didn't draw anything there. At least I still had this nice fit.
>Matt: EFNY O8 FEN.Y +45 155
>Mack: ADEGHSU M9 HU.GED +32 202
#note Was disappointed at how close JUGHEADS came to fitting
>Matt: AEEVW F6 WEAV. +19 174
>Mack: AILOSST 2G AL.OISTS +70 272
#note Don't love giving back row 1, but ISOLATES is too big a point sacrifice, and this does a nice job of exhausting the top right in the long term, so if I can dodge a bullet for one turn I should be in great shape.
>Matt: EFM N13 FEM +27 201
>Mack: ACEHORX 1D COXAE +59 331
>Matt: DNO L13 DON +16 217
>Mack: EHIIRSZ L2 .IZIER +30 361
#note Chosen over SEIZIN for 15 more to block off the top right and keep the case S as well as -SH for row 3.
>Matt: EEQU 15H QUEE. +42 259
>Mack: ?ADHLRS E5 DAHL +28 389
#note Intentionally passed up 3A HeRALDS and HoLARDS as I simply couldn't see myself losing after DAHL and spread was now irrelevant. Came close to playing 3E LAH but didn't want to have to think about things like D1 CABRIOLE hooking BLAH later in the game, and I figured after DAHL if Matt hits something at 3A (unlikely with no Ss left) then I'd have a good chance at hitting a 3*3 or big bingo back on column A.

Turns out DAHL stopped Matt's grand plan of fishing for ANTIR(A)C(IS)M for 95 on row 8! Crazy find by him, doubtful it would've been enough to win anyway given my rack, but still really cool.
>Matt: IMNT D4 MINT +27 286
>Mack: ?IINPRS 12E .IN +10 399
#note This is probably not a very good play, but since spread was irrelevant wanted to just secure the win and conserve brainpower for the tournament-deciding game up next.
>Matt: ORTT K5 TROT +16 302
>Mack: ?AIPRSU D12 dRIP +36 435
>Matt: BENR 14B BR.NE +18 320
>Mack: AACEOSU M4 ACES +30 465
>Matt: ?LV C3 LuV +20 340
#note Matt put down LeV first and switched his designation to LuV. Unfortunately, as I informed him after the game, he missed the star play of LaV in the same spot! :)
>Matt: (AOU) +6 346
