#player2 Stephen_Schwitzer Stephen Schwitzer
>Arie_Sinke: GLNNSTU 8G LUNG +10 10
#note This looks right, better than TUNG despite creating two hooks that I don't have (E and I.)
>Stephen_Schwitzer: ACV F6 VAC +24 24
>Arie_Sinke: FNOOOST 9I OOF +13 23
#note This also looks correct. Slow start to the game.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: ?AEINPT 10C PANTIEs +62 86
>Arie_Sinke: DINOOST K9 .OOD +16 39
#note If this were Collins I would be bingoing right now with ISODONT# and OOFS#. FOOD looks like my best NWL play.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: ABET 11D BEAT +24 110
>Arie_Sinke: ADINRST L10 DRAT +21 60
#note If this were Collins I would have INDARTS#. I thought this was good to fork the board; too many sevens aren't going down unless I try to open things up. Quackle thinks I'm making too big a sacrifice in leave and I should just go with D(U)R(E) H7 for 12, more of a pure fish.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: ETWY 12C WYTE +42 152
>Arie_Sinke: EEILNSS 14I ENISLES +74 134
#note Highest scoring bingo.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: AQT 15G QAT +38 190
>Arie_Sinke: EFIMNOV O12 VI.E +33 167
#note I liked this better than FIVE 13G for defense, and the sim concurs.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: CHI 13H CHI +24 214
>Arie_Sinke: AFHIMNO M12 HA.F +31 198
#note This looks right; HOLM in the same spot keeps a comparable leave but scores two fewer points.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: EEW 13B WEE +31 245
>Arie_Sinke: GIIMNOZ B13 .IZ +30 228
#note Best by far. There is no way to obstruct the WEE front hooks without making an unacceptable sacrifice. This at least partially obstructs them, while setting up something else.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: KRU H5 KUR. +8 253
>Arie_Sinke: DGIMNNO 5H .INGDOM +30 258
#note Best by far; it's very open but anything else makes an unacceptable sacrifice in score.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: BEIX 4L IBEX +56 309
>Arie_Sinke: ?AAJNRU 15A A.AN +42 300
#note This has got to be best. I thought about playing NANA J3 for 6 to set up JNANA plays, but correctly decided that it was a foolish gambit.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: GO 3N GO +18 327
>Arie_Sinke: ?EJLPRU M7 JUPE +28 328
#note This scores as well as possible but seems to consistently sim behind JURA 7C for 19 and JUREL 3H for 17. I am not sure why this is, and it's possible that giving up 8K-O is too big a gift in a tight endgame. I don't think I fully understand this position.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: EENRRST 3F STERNER +63 390
>Arie_Sinke: ?AIILOR L2 I... +5 333
#note Here I need to fish off a tile and draw a bingo to win the game. According to Quackle, the only play that has a chance is GI K5 for 3, which wins by 1 if I draw the S for SOLaRIA in two places. No other fish will win - anything on top of STERNER sets Stephen up on the triple, and PI 9M makes DULY score enough to tie. IRID give me LOAMIeR in two places (including with MIRID) if I draw the M, which was my plan. Stephen could block them both with LYE H1 or LOR I1 or RYE H1 (DYE gives me MARIgOLD.) There are no actual wins after IRID, as I lose if I draw SOLARIA after he gets lots of points with MIRID, but I do have one draw that creates a tough situation for him to assess.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: DLMOSUY 9B YO +11 401
>Arie_Sinke: ?AILORR 8A ROlL +21 354
#note I'm supposed to be blocking MIRID and MUDS here with ARIL 2J.
>Stephen_Schwitzer: DLMSU 8L M.DS +30 431
>Arie_Sinke: AIR 2H RAI +13 367
>Arie_Sinke: (LU) +4 371
