>Arie_Sinke: BCDEFLP 8G PELF +18 18
#note Tough position. Anything I play will retain an awkward consonant heavy leave. Quackle likes this best, but exchanging down to BDEL does surprisingly well in the sim.
>Marcela_Kadanka: IZ J8 .IZ +35 35
>Arie_Sinke: BCDINSX 9F NIX +25 43
#note Another tough position; this is probably best but spending the S with something like DIBS or BIDS at K5 for 25 is not terrible. Here the value of the S is inflated a bit by the presence of a hook, so a consonant heavy leave like BCDS is more workable than usual.
>Marcela_Kadanka: IIIIUUU -IUU +0 35
>Arie_Sinke: BCDGRSV -BCDGV +0 43
#note Exchanging is basically forced here, but it pays to retain the C or the D with RS. I think I might have been a bit too wary of three consonant leaves here.
>Marcela_Kadanka: EMNO 10D OMEN +17 52
>Arie_Sinke: DOQRSYY 11B DORY +32 75
#note Looks best.
>Marcela_Kadanka: AIL K10 AIL +17 69
>Arie_Sinke: EEIIQSY L8 QIS +34 109
#note Weird inauspicious draw of EIII. It may be slightly better to play EYE 12B for 26 now, at least assuring that my next rack has some scoring potential. I noted that all 4 Us were unseen and I was reasonably likely to draw into QUEY, but that spot will get blocked a lot. Quackle has the two plays within a point of each other.
>Marcela_Kadanka: AIU 8L .UAI +39 108
>Arie_Sinke: AEEITUY 12B EYE +26 135
#note Bad play. I considered EYE on my previous turn, which made me look at EYE instead of AYE in the same spot, which keeps a better leave.
>Marcela_Kadanka: ?EEORRW 13I REsWORE +73 181
>Arie_Sinke: ?AEIJTU O12 J.TE +57 192
#note So REsWORE is phoney. I held and was about 75% confident that it was no good. I can accept the play and play JETE, netting -16 spread points, and I'll have a blank and she won't. Or I can challenge it off and play JUbILATE, netting +80 spread points, but she'll have a blank and I won't, and she can respond with a low scoring bingo if she finds it. If I were 100% confident that REsWORE was no good, I would have challenge, but I had enough doubt that I thought it was worth it to accept the play.
>Marcela_Kadanka: DEHT N6 DE.TH +21 202
>Arie_Sinke: ?AIIOUU -IIOUU +0 192
#note Rough draw. This is best.
>Marcela_Kadanka: AOV O4 OVA +10 212
>Arie_Sinke: ?AAEPRT 15H sEPARAT. +80 272
#note Best bingo.
>Marcela_Kadanka: BOT 12J B.OT +28 240
>Arie_Sinke: IINOOTT 11G TOO +9 281
#note Tough decision. I want to deter comebacks, but it's hard because there are multiple locations on the board for bingos and with a small lead I don't want to sacrifice too much equity. This blocks the SPIN spot while keeping a reasonable leave; hopefully I get the opportunity to do something about row 14 next turn. Quackle is useless here
>Marcela_Kadanka: ACDIR 4J CARDI. +18 258
>Arie_Sinke: AEIIINT 12G AI +13 294
#note I actually bingo quite a bit after this, and the score is too close to sacrifice equity to block.
>Marcela_Kadanka: CU M2 CU. +12 270
>Arie_Sinke: EIILNRT 14B NITRILE +69 363
#note Only bingo.
>Marcela_Kadanka: DHO 15A HOD +26 296
>Arie_Sinke: AFKLMNU K2 FL.NK +24 387
#note Not 100% sure about this play. I make bingos practically impossible, but FLACK 2J scores enough to outrun pretty much anything while blocking anything with SCUD. I'm having a hard time coming up with a way for either FLANK or FLACK to lose, and FLACK does better on spread.
>Marcela_Kadanka: GNU 6H GUN. +11 307
>Arie_Sinke: AAGGMUV 5D GUAVA +21 408
#note GUT 14M looks like a slightly better pre-endgame play - I continue to score well with my leave next turn, whereas after GUAVA I'm dinking off one or two tiles for a low score if I can't go out.
>Marcela_Kadanka: BEESSSW 1M SEW +25 332
>Arie_Sinke: GMN E4 M.NG +7 415
#note Only out.
>Arie_Sinke: (BESS) +12 427
