>Arie_Sinke: ABDDNOR 8D BOARD +22 22
#note This is probably the best I can do.
>Michael_Fagen: DEFG E5 DEF.G +20 20
>Arie_Sinke: DGINTUX 6E .XUDING +34 56
#note Probably the best I can do. DEX is surprisingly strong here, bingos a lot, but this still looks better.
>Michael_Fagen: CINU K2 CUIN. +16 36
>Arie_Sinke: BEERSTZ 4J B.ZE +30 86
#note This and BIZ look pretty close; didn't want to set up the E hook when I didn't have to but BIZ looks like it binogs 6% more often.
>Michael_Fagen: DEISV N2 VISED +42 78
>Arie_Sinke: ELRSTVW O5 WELT +29 115
#note The LVW draw illustrates why BIZ is good. WELT looks like the best I can do.
>Michael_Fagen: EEKMORY M3 K.Y +41 119
>Arie_Sinke: EEIORSV 10B EROSIVE +75 190
#note Deliberately giving up one point to play the defensive placement of EROSIVE. Quackle doesn't see the merit of it.
>Michael_Fagen: GHOPR B6 GOPH.R +16 135
>Arie_Sinke: EEHIOTW A7 WOE +40 230
#note I thoght this would sim better than WITHED H1 because it retains potential to score at H1 next turn with the right draw. Quackle thinks WITHED scores enough more to be worth it.
>Michael_Fagen: ?AENOTT 11H NOTATEs +64 199
>Arie_Sinke: AEEHIIT H1 HEATE. +33 263
#note This is probably fine; wins a sim slightly over AHI 12L. I have decided to try to outrun potential bingos in the event that I miss the second blank.
>Michael_Fagen: AINY 12J AYIN +27 226
>Arie_Sinke: AFIILOU D1 FOLIA +27 290
#note This blocks a lot and actually does very slightly better than AFOUL A11 for 38 in a sim to the end of the game. I eschewed AFOUL because I thought I really needed defense here.
>Michael_Fagen: AIL 1A ALI. +21 247
>Arie_Sinke: IJORTTU 2F JO. +26 316
#note This play doesn't do very well in the sim, though it is the highest scoring option available to me here. Good options include TRIO C4 (scores 21, retains the J to continue scoring on subsequent turns) and JILT and JOLT at 3B for 22 (gives up 4 points to undouble the Ts.)
>Michael_Fagen: AAENORS L7 AERA..ONS +61 308
>Arie_Sinke: CIPRTTU 14J CU.IT +26 342
#note This looks like an improvement over all my other options. This reduces the probability that Michael bingos if he has the blank (sevens ending in L still play with TALC, and eights involving GOPHERS/ENS.) PRT is an okay leave; there are vowels out, and I'm hoping to draw something that outscores any non-bingos Michael threatens. I should win 60% of the time here.
>Michael_Fagen: ILMMRSU 12B SLUM +25 333
>Arie_Sinke: ?ENPQRT F12 PEN +16 358
#note This loses because it sets up RAMIN, a five which I didn't recall and thought was no good. RAMIN is the only way for Michael to win. If I play QuERN 9I I lose by 1. The two winning options are PERi F12 (which will always threaten QI or Qi) and PERT (which keeps the blank to go for QaT if Michael blocks QI). This was not an unsolveable endgame, but you have to know RAMIN to make the right play.
>Michael_Fagen: AIMR 14B RAMI. +14 347
>Michael_Fagen: (QRT?) +24 371
