>Arie_Sinke: ADIKRST 8H TRAIK +28 28
#note Quackle likes KID, which I think is a lot to give up. Maybe if I had played KID I would have ended the game with more than zero bingos.
>Josh_Sokol: EFINOTV J4 FOVE. +19 19
#note never saw INVO(K)E. Luckily I am lucky and this is slightly better than that too. 9K FIVE being the other option I considered.
>Arie_Sinke: DEEOSTW K3 DEW +29 57
#note This looks like a marginal improvement over other similar options (including EW in the same spot, which I thought about, ultimately I'm not giving up 4 points to keep a D.)
>Josh_Sokol: EEGINTT I8 .INGETTE +61 80
>Arie_Sinke: EOOSTUZ L2 OOZE +65 122
#note Clearly best, but now the Bs have become practically the most valuable tiles in the bag.
>Josh_Sokol: ?LNOSTT 15D NOTeL.TS +74 154
#note didn't see TOWNLETS, which might be a better version of my play. Liked how this induced plays at 14B that constrained the board, rather than leaving a lane for who knows how long if the N was on 15F #questionable
>Arie_Sinke: IQSTUWY 10F QUI.T +36 158
#note I really liked this play, and Quackle likes it the most out of all the options I considered. I didn't spot EQUITY 12I, which looks like a modest improvement - scores the same and gets rid of the Y. I liked setting up SQUINT with QUINT to balance out the BOOZE spot.
>Josh_Sokol: ADEOPRR 13F PRO.RADE +74 228
>Arie_Sinke: EEELSWY M1 YEW +34 192
#note I wanted to partially obstruct BOOZE, so I preferred this to the other 34 point placement of YEW (12K.)
>Josh_Sokol: ABBEOSX 1K AB.ES +58 286
#note I could save this for later with K8 (I)BEX and block the SQUINT hook. However, then Arie will probably block BOOZE if he can, since I would be playing one of the two B's.
>Arie_Sinke: AAEELLS K8 .LEA +23 215
#note I need to bingo now. This has the downside of taking out SQUINT but scores too many points to pass up.
>Josh_Sokol: BIJORUX 14C BIJOU +36 322
#note TIL BIJOUX is a 11.4-point alphabetically correct leave.
>Arie_Sinke: AEHLMSV 12A HALVES +38 253
#note Maybe I win more by playing HALVE 14K and hoping that Josh doesn't have anything good on column O? Or LAV 13B?
>Josh_Sokol: ADEGHNX A12 .ANG +24 346
#note never saw HEXAD 14K which seems good for spread. I figured my lead was crushing after blocking the 3x3 and whatever X play I made next. I can always just play DEX 6L next turn and block the S very well. Could also do that immediately, but then he can maybe open the top left.
>Arie_Sinke: ADEIMNP 14K DAMP +29 282
#note Setting up an S hook that I don't have in the hopes of getting lucky. Quackle says I should set up an S hook in a different way, by playing a three with BOOZED. DIM and DAM also set up an E hook with only 1 E and a blank unseen. If I recall correctly, I disliked those plays because they obstructed the S.
>Josh_Sokol: DEFHINX 6L DEX +45 391
#note planning to block DAMPS next turn.
>Arie_Sinke: EIMNNUY O6 YUM +39 321
#note Taking the points and hoping for a miracle.
>Josh_Sokol: CFHILNR H4 FLIR. +12 403
#note could just outrun with AHI 13A, he can't take advantage of my consonantitis. I wanted to do FLIN(T) but if he has GUNFLINT, he has a path back into the game. #questionable
>Arie_Sinke: AEIINNO G1 NAOI +10 331
#note I had no ideas, so I just hoped to draw the blank and win by some miracle. Quackle thinks either this or AEONIAN B7 might have a shot. After NAOI, Josh will usually block the lines I set up and anything I luck into might fall short. My guess is that I win more with AEONIAN, that's harder to control effectively.
>Josh_Sokol: ?ACHNOR 2C ARCH.eON +72 475
>Arie_Sinke: EGIINSU O11 GUISE +31 362
#note I should play ANI 13A first - Josh's block for GUISE sacrifices more than he would to block ANI.
>Josh_Sokol: CIR B11 C.R +7 482
>Arie_Sinke: IN 9K .IN +10 372
>Arie_Sinke: (I) +2 374
