>Michael_Fagen: EIJSTV 8D JIVEST +48 48
>Arie_Sinke: EEELMNU 9I EMEU +10 10
#note I didn't see NEUME 7G for 17. EMEU is a distant second best; NEUME is clearly better.
>Michael_Fagen: FGINR E7 F.RING +20 68
>Arie_Sinke: EELNRWY 10I WYN +40 50
#note Looks best.
>Michael_Fagen: AAGKORY K6 COV..T +22 90
>Michael_Fagen: AAGKORY -- -22 68
>Arie_Sinke: ?EEELMR 8L MERE +34 84
#note Best by far. I was also lucky that I knew with absolute certainty that COVENT# was #.
>Michael_Fagen: ACTV 10B VAT.C +24 92
>Arie_Sinke: ?AELNNU H1 UNLEArN. +74 158
#note Or ANNULEtS.
>Michael_Fagen: OTU E4 OUT...... +26 118
>Arie_Sinke: ABDEFGO 9C FO.A +38 196
#note Best.
>Michael_Fagen: CRY C9 ..RCY +26 144
>Arie_Sinke: BDDEGRS M3 DREDG.S +34 230
#note I liked my play because it blocks a lot of eights. I also considered SMUDGED L7 for 35, but ultimately decided that DREDGES was worth it for defense. For what it's worth, DREDGES loses a 2 ply sim to SMUDGED but wins a 6 ply sim (for win%), suggesting that it has some medium/long term defensive merit. Michael bingos immediately 13% of the time after DREDGES and 21% of the time after SMUDGED.
>Michael_Fagen: ABIQ 2H .IQAB +36 180
>Arie_Sinke: ABEIOTW 4L B.OW +26 256
#note Bad miss of TAWIE 1K here.
>Michael_Fagen: EGHINST O6 SH.ETING +63 243
>Arie_Sinke: AEEIKNR O1 KNE. +33 289
#note The leave after KNEW is too vowel heavy, particularly when drawing into a vowel heavy pool. A sim prefers AKEE and AKIN at 1L for 32 to retain more balanced leaves.
>Michael_Fagen: EPSZ D1 ZEPS +54 297
>Arie_Sinke: ?AAEIIR 12C .A.IER +20 309
#note CAGIER does poorly in a sim - apparently I seldom (16%) bingo after it. I do much better if I play AID 3K, keeping a consonant and keeping the G of OUTFIRING and the N in SHEETING in play. I don't think I reckoned with how unusually vowel heavy the pool was.
>Michael_Fagen: LTU 1A LUT. +39 336
>Arie_Sinke: ?AEIILO N1 OI +14 323
#note Not sure exactly what my rack was; if it was this I missed sOLITAIrE 6A. I remember thinking that this was obvious.
>Michael_Fagen: AILX F1 AXIL +30 366
>Arie_Sinke: ?ADEILO 13G mELODIA +69 392
#note Only bingo, I should win about 70% of the time. Fishing seems like a sure path to defeat; Michael will be able to block most of my bingos without sacrificing much equity.
>Michael_Fagen: AADHOPR 14J HAD +34 400
#note Michael's tiles are good enough to do the job. Best is APOD 14I, threatening to go out with either LAH 15G or HARP 3A.
>Arie_Sinke: IOOT 15H TOO +15 407
#note I need to play this to block PRAO.
>Michael_Fagen: AOPR 14D PRAO +10 410
#note APORT 6A is three more.
>Michael_Fagen: (I) +2 412
