>Annette_Obrestad: INOV 8G VINO +14 14
>Arie_Sinke: BILRTUW H4 TWIB.L +12 12
#note This play does not sim particularly well. I am probably sacrificing too much here. I just didn't want to get bogged down on a dead board with poor racks and thought that I would benefit from creating some openings. TUB 7H for 15 is the sane boring play a normal person would make.
>Annette_Obrestad: DIN 5H .IND +16 30
>Arie_Sinke: AEORRTU 4K OUR +9 21
#note I didn't see OUTWIND, which looks like it's probably worth it (barely).
>Annette_Obrestad: EX 9H .EX +23 53
>Arie_Sinke: AAEMORT 10J OMA +19 40
#note I started to put down AMARETTO, then pulled it back, thinking that I was misspelling AMORETTO. I was thinking about cupids, and it didn't occur to me that amaretto was also a liqueur until days later. I convinced myself TERATOMA had no anagram. This isn't very good - best non-bingo though.
>Annette_Obrestad: AEGMNRV L8 GR.VAMEN +84 137
>Arie_Sinke: AEEHNRT 13G EARTH.EN +80 120
#note Only bingo.
>Annette_Obrestad: CIN H12 C.IN +27 164
>Arie_Sinke: AADEETZ 8L .AZE +42 162
#note Best play by far.
>Annette_Obrestad: ITUY 15K U.ITY +24 188
>Arie_Sinke: ADEERST 10B DERATES +76 238
#note Best bingo.
>Annette_Obrestad: EFILNOS C8 OL.FINES +74 262
>Arie_Sinke: ADGIPSU N10 PIG.U. +30 268
#note Annette's bingo blocked my play of PAGURIDS. PIGNUT is clearly best.
>Annette_Obrestad: HTU 15A TU.H +33 295
>Arie_Sinke: AADFKOS D8 FA.AD +48 316
#note This play looks best.
>Annette_Obrestad: AQT 3I QAT +26 321
>Arie_Sinke: CEKOORS 6K SOCKO +26 342
#note I miss another bingo here - CROOKEST at 4A. I think I saw the word and almost immediately talked myself out of it. My goal with SOCKO was to keep the scoring pressure on while taking out the best line on the board (O1-8). I also turn over a lot of tiles for the blanks. It's reasonable, but obviously bingoing is better.
>Annette_Obrestad: OP 8A PO.. +27 348
>Arie_Sinke: EEGILRW E9 W.G +34 376
#note WERGELT 4B is an interesting alternative to block - after WERGELT I'm in danger of being outrun, so I prefer my play.
>Annette_Obrestad: B J2 B. +10 358
>Arie_Sinke: EEILRRY G2 RYE +12 388
#note This is where things get really weird. I can assume that Annette has very good tiles, including at least one blank, and I'm probably not in very good shape. RYE forces Annette to make the front hook tile (A or O) play in positions 2-3, which unfortunately is exactly where those tiles tend to be likeliest to show up. LYRIC M2 scores a bit more while forcing here to put the hook tile in positions 5-7 and allowing her to use the T in TWIBILS (without giving her an R). I don't place much confidence in Quackle here, but I am inclined to believe that LYRIC is a slightly better play.
>Annette_Obrestad: ADEJLOS 2F E. +4 362
>Arie_Sinke: DEIJLRS H1 ER +9 397
#note I drew DJS after RYE - exactly what I want to see. By playing ER, I block all the easy bingos and force her to find cALlIOPE A2, which isn't an easy find. DE in the same spot is worse, as it allows IsOLEAd/sERE.
>Annette_Obrestad: ??AEILO 1J ObELIA +23 385
#note Annette went seven minutes over looking for bingos, of which only CALLIOPE was available.
>Arie_Sinke: DIJLS A12 JIL. +19 416
#note I missed JINS 13A here, which scores two more points.
>Annette_Obrestad: ? E9 ...s +10 395
