#player1 Josh Josh
#player2 Joey Joey
>Josh: AEGQSTU H4 QUATE +48 48
#note considered QUAGS as well, since the G is a huge impediment here. Incredibly, my reasoning was off. The S doesn't improve Joey's chances at a bingo, since QUAGS is otherwise quite defensive. He also scores a whole lot more after QUATE because of the hooks, and my chances of a bingo next turn are only slightly better with GS, perhaps only because of how open of a play QUATE is compared to QUAGS. #strategysmall
>Joey: AEEGOOS 3F OGEE +23 23
>Josh: ADEFGOS 2B DEFOG +35 83
#note I immediately miss one of the three extensions of QUATE, ADEQUATE. This is pretty terrible. I only saw TORQUATE and COEQUATE when playing QUATE. Last turns' slight mistake snowballs into a much larger mistake on turn 2. #findinglarge
>Joey: AEHIOSZ 1E HAZE +57 80
>Josh: ACMNSTY 1A MAY +32 115
#note or YAM to restrict overlaps by around a point #questionable
>Joey: ?AILOST 5D ALIq.OTS +78 158
>Josh: CCINSTT D4 T.CTIC +22 137
#note Lotsa N's left, C(A)NTIC which I didn't know is better. #knowledgesmall
>Joey: AEILPRU K5 .PIRULAE +70 228
>Josh: AEILNOS G7 ANISOLE +65 202
#note somehow missed that this played at 10A. I chose this over row 2 ANISOLE because of defense. Very sloppy. #findingsmall
>Joey: BEGHNOW 3A BOW +38 266
>Josh: ?FIJNRU L12 FUJI +40 242
#note FUJ(I) 8A retains a better leave and is less volatile. I missed this too. #findingmedium
>Joey: EGHKNNT 15J KN.GHT +42 308
>Josh: ?ENOPRS O8 fORSPEN. +86 328
>Joey: BEIMNTY 12C NIMB.Y +34 342
#note Forgot about BEKNIGHT. This was a good rack clean upper, but not worth giving up 20 points for.
>Josh: AAADNVW J12 DAW. +27 355
#note this sucked, was hoping I could hold on.
>Joey: EELRRTU A3 .UTLER +27 369
>Josh: AAINNRV 2I NIRVANA +76 431
#note had a lot of time to iterate here. M7 NAVARIN was obviously the most points, but I didn't need points, I needed to try and prevent Joey from getting an out bingo. It seemed playing on row 2 blocked the most. It appeared that I could outrun all X plays after NIRVANA and NAVARIN 2I but not necessarily after N3 NAVARIN for 65. I kept looking for bingos that played after NIRVANA vs NAVARIN on row 2. NIRVANA is a bit worse on spread, but prevents more bingos than NAVARIN does. Seems like the play.

>Joey: EIOORSV O1 S.VIOR +30 399
#note Weirdly, VARIES nets more spread.
>Josh: DDEEIRX 13A EXED +31 462
>Joey: EO L2 .OE +12 411
>Joey: (DIR) +8 419
