>Mike: ?CEELOV E5 VOC.LEsE +98 98
#note Or EVOCAbLE.
>Scott_Appel: UUU -UUU +0 42
>Mike: ABEEEIN D10 BEANIE +27 125
>Scott_Appel: GILT C12 GILT +22 64
>Mike: EFHPUWY 15A WY.. +30 155
#note Missed TEPEFY 15C. Too focused on breaking up the UW combo.
>Scott_Appel: AY F8 .AY +33 97
>Mike: AEEFHPU 14B A..F +24 179
#note Since the board is already starting to develop as closed, I'm not a fan of stuff like FEU 7H (which sims about even to my play).
>Scott_Appel: SU I7 US +17 114
>Mike: DDEEHPU 9H HEP +18 197
#note Confession time: I played this believing it didn't take the S. (It didn't used to, but now does.) As you'll see, though, I apparently convinced Scott it didn't take the S as well. (Also: hold this thought for about twelve rounds.) CP has DUPE 6G as best, but I think I'd rather add the D on as well.
>Scott_Appel: I -I +0 114
>Mike: CDDEKTU 6D D.CK +17 214
#note Trying to do inferences in Quackle can lead to very strange results. Here, inferring a reasonably strong AELRST leave, DEDUCT J2 jumps to the top of the sim, which makes no sense. This is more a feel play than a numbers play, and I'm happy with DOCK (but open to suggestions).
>Scott_Appel: AEELRST 10I REALEST +71 185
>Mike: DEEMTTU O10 .UTTED +24 238
#note Committing to the defensive posture. MUTED sims slightly ahead, but forking the board is the last thing I want to do when up nearly a bingo.
>Scott_Appel: EORU N12 EURO +19 204
>Mike: EELMNUV L8 VE.UM +28 266
#note Oh yeah, it's good with two Ls too. Oops.
>Scott_Appel: AAR 8L .ARA +21 225
>Mike: EHLMNQT 7M HEM +27 293
#note Continuing to commit (overcommit?) to defense. The Q can wait, especially with a zillion Is to draw.
>Scott_Appel: IIOOO -IIOOO +0 225
>Mike: FILNPQT M13 PIN +27 320
#note This sims best, and also gives me a little peace of mind. I couldn't remember whether VELUM took an S (it doesn't), and had no interest in finding out with the game on the line.
>Scott_Appel: ADINOS H1 DANIOS +36 261
>Mike: ?FLOQTW 2G Q.T +12 332
#note FLOWER N3 wins the sim, but I'd prefer to start the process of inhibiting all the lines.
>Scott_Appel: OT C9 TO +12 273
>Mike: ?FILOSW 3F WI.O +24 356
#note WOLFSKIN is pretty. Missed bingo #4 on the tournament.
>Scott_Appel: X 11K X. +36 309
>Mike: ?FLORSZ 5H .RZO +26 382
#note Of the plays that a many-ply sim has at 100%, ZEROS N6 looks best.
>Scott_Appel: BO 4K BO +12 321
>Mike: ?FIILNS G6 .I. +8 390
>Scott_Appel: EGINNOR B3 NEGRONI +62 383
>Mike: ?FIILNS A1 aLIF +41 431
#note SINFuL A7 is one better.
>Scott_Appel: D M7 ..D. +15 398
>Scott_Appel: (INS) +6 404
