#note I don't know why I didn't play QI here. It seems quite nice positionally on a board that's already quite negative.
>Binsky: AEX 7G AXE +24 172
#note Dammit this is the reason I should have played QI. Perfect fork.
>Lipey: ?DGNOQU J4 QUOD +28 241
#note QUOD 6D seems like a good play to regain control of the board but look what it does: if he hits 6I immediately, I'm behind on a useless board and will be playing Burrito the rest of the game trying to get my own blank down. It's actually imperative to play J4 to avoid the potential entropy collapse that a 6D / 6I sequence would bring.

Who knew not playing QI would be such a blunder?
>Binsky: KLNR 5H KN.RL +18 190
#note Lucky Rob doesn't have great stuff here. Scoring a bit, waiting, keeping O1 and 7A open, plus now H1 is coming down soon.
>Lipey: ?BGJNOS M1 JONGS +36 277
#note With AAAOOO out, I'm giving up plenty of points with the J after JOBS or JONGS. Note this play makes killing the right side of the board and the O1 line inevitable (unless Rob hits it right now, which he doesn't.) -- this is a reason to not play on row 11, where the space is already exhausted.
>Binsky: EW 1M .EW +39 229
#note Close to my worst-case scenario after JONGS, which isn't bad -- we trade scores and O1 is dead, leaving 6A as the bonus lane, which gives me a plum shot at A column back.

>Binsky: ?EELNRU 6A UNREELs +62 291
>Lipey: ?ABFOOR 5D OF +22 335
#note Q's choice in this preendgame. I'm in fine shape if there are no bingos, and if he hits one lane I have a shot into drawing into the other.
>Binsky: AEGINOY 1F GYNIE +32 323
#note Rob is drawing dead, but blocking the U has a better valuation.
>Lipey: ?ABMORS A1 tAMBO.RS +176 511
>Lipey: (challenge) +5 516
#note I count myself lucky he still considers me a friend.
