>Jackson: ?CLLOOW H7 COWL +18 18
>Maxim: AHPRTTU 10D THUR. +10 10
#note he thinks this was his rack, in which case Id go for scorier plays like whup or prutoth
>Jackson: ?BEELOT 6B BOLETEs +75 93
#note BEcLOT(H)E!!!

quackle of course prefers obsolete to boletes, but I figured it was good to not throw open the board so much. the SCOWL hook is hard to block, and this makes the board much more favourable. I would play this again
>Maxim: AIJ E10 .AJI +28 38
>Jackson: BEHKNOR 13C BO.NK +32 125
#note RHEB(O)K is nice, but I prefer BOINK for sure. the scowls hook is gonna be annoying but not much I can do about it
>Maxim: GIMPU E1 GUIMP. +22 60
>Jackson: EEHRSVY 1E .VYE +33 158
#note VERSE is cool but the hook and the NE opening is unideal here. I considered SHIVERY as well, cause GYVE makes a new lane, but gyve is too hard to pass up.

but silly me transposes tiles. luckily, he had a bingo
>Maxim: AAIILPT 2H TILAPIA +74 134
#note max holds here, and I still don't notice my transposition.

If max challenges, he gets PIGTAIL for 33, keeping A, leaving me with EVY. vs. TILAPIA he gets 74 and I get 33, and I clean up my rack. I think I would challenge gvye here and take the raw 8 point sacrifice. there's also something psychologically weakening about getting a word challenged off
>Jackson: EEEHLRS 9H .HEELERS +69 227
>Maxim: FIO 7H .OIF +10 144
>Jackson: AAEINOR 8L ANOA +28 255
#note COIF obviously looks like a Q setup, but I realized that it probably wasn't - not only does QI(S) play for 36 (that might make COIF wrong, but he could still definitely be setting up the Q), but max was shuffling tiles for a long time and took a while. If he was just deciding between COIF and QIS, he would not be shuffling so much. (O)ORIE is 24 and cool, and ROAN also plays to block. I figured there was a sub50% chance he had the Q and so anoa is better, and also long term it's way better, cause even if he hits the Q i'm in good shape
>Maxim: IQ 6J QI +67 211
#note apparently he drew the Q!
>Jackson: ADEINNR B3 END.RAIN +63 318
>Maxim: DNW 8A W.ND +30 241
>Jackson: AANOORS A1 ANOA +20 338
#note OSAR is certainly worth considering. I liked keeping my S to deal with setups and to outscore with HAJIS plays, so anoa felt better. OSAR is still susceptible to big TWS bingoes.
