>Steve_Ozorio: ?AELMTT 8D MArTLET +72 72
>Jackson: BLMORRZ E4 BROM.L +20 20
#note the Z is pretty decent here, also it's likely he doesn't know BROMALS, which could come in handy at some point.
>Steve_Ozorio: EINOO H8 .OONIE +7 79
>Jackson: AERRRYZ 6B ARR.Z +36 56
#note missing RAZER for 41 with loonier! it's slightly better than arroz
>Steve_Ozorio: AEIINRS 11D SIRE.IAN +82 161
>Jackson: AAEFRTY 10J FAY +32 88
#note normally I would play FAERY, but being down by so much made me tend slightly toward the bingo prone leave, and especially with LOONIER open, a lot of my 7s will hit. That being said, Steve is very paranoidly defensive, and it's very likely he will block for 7 at some points, making an outrunning strategy generally superior to a bingo strategy. I still don't think FAY is a big mistake, but if I could do it over I would definitely play FAERY.

>Jackson: CEEKLNV 12A KNEE +38 202
#note KEVEL 3J looks nice, although how often does he keep an S with vicar? gotta be a bit more than average.
>Steve_Ozorio: ABEOSTU A7 OUTBA.ES +92 289
>Jackson: CDGILUV H1 VIC.UL +33 235
#note I held outbakes for a while - I was quite confident it was a word, but this rack was just so uninspiring, I figured I either needed to challenge or phony to get back in it. Had I see the best play, VI(A)DUC(T), this decision would have been a lot simpler! victul*
>Steve_Ozorio: DIOO 2B O.OID +26 315
>Jackson: DGHIJSX I7 H.X +42 277
#note now I start my outrunning plan...
>Steve_Ozorio: DEILNOO 1G O.EN +7 322
#note ...and he starts his defense plan
>Jackson: DGIJSTY C12 .T +30 307
#note this play looks weird, but I think it will be great for me - I keep YI(N) B10 next turn, and hopefully over these 3 tiles drawn, I can draw an E for JE(T) or an O for JO(T) or JO. An A or I or U draw can also help hitting a K5 J play.
>Steve_Ozorio: FO L8 FO. +13 335
>Jackson: DGIIJSY B10 YI. +31 338
#note I wonder how often he has a blank with FOY, and how often he has a bingo leave, and how often he just has random stuff. OFten he has J6 FET or FAT... and often just a lot of better plays. The other option, which I only realized later after watching more of STeve's plays, is that he is blocking the S hook and has nothing. I figured that if he was gonna block he might do something a bit more secure than FOY, but in later games he made more plays like this. Making that assumption, I think G(O)JI is the play, setting up my S.
>Steve_Ozorio: ?EHQRUW E1 Q. +11 346
>Jackson: DGHIJPS 9K P.H +17 355
#note Missing H(A)DJ for 31, far better than my play. I think again, I mis-inferred his range, when he really doens't have that many Ss or ?s. GOJI is also fine, though HADJ is clear. Steve has also been pretty good on words before, so it's not likely he'll try POHS, and I expect he would chlelnge if I played it. bad miss.
>Steve_Ozorio: ANP 14A .PAN +22 368
>Jackson: DEGIJSW J6 JE. +31 386
#note Q has K4 SWAG as the best play. I can definitely see that, because emptying the bag here isn't the worst thing - if he indeed has good bingo tiles, swig does fairly well, because if I don't empty the bag he has the chance to fish, and my blocks may not be possible/score enough. DEW is a play that I missed that is better than JET.
>Steve_Ozorio: DEELNSU D6 .U. +9 377
#note actual rack. bingoes with IRS? along the 14 row - S/? is a slightly more probable draw than usual if he infers that I don't have an S with POH. Champ liked (R)U(G) best, I assume so it's harder to block those bingoes (EGGS blocks)
>Jackson: DGIRSUW H8 ......R +7 393
#note I have maybe 3 minutes left here - this isn't actually too complicated a position, it's just a matter of seeing the bingoes in the pool. I thought about IS/LOONIES but discounted it cause of the T hook, and EGGS, and LOONIER. My logic was bad though - I don't actually outrun in these scenarios, cause pretty much any out in two (and certainly some non-out in twos) will crush me. so those blocks are pretty terrible, especially since they give up a lot of bingoes themselves. I really just need to play hoping that he can't bingo next turn, and outrun with any number of plays (lots of plays, like GID or W(O)G and others win 25%).
>Steve_Ozorio: ?DEELNS 14H .EDLiNES +77 454
#note it was a small consolation that my play last turn didn't matter. I still made lots of mistakes this game - mainly missing HADJ and previously missing GOJI/not properly inferring from FOY. Nice job to Steve for breaking my streak against him!
