#note CUVEE is the obvious play. I heavily considered V(AT)U too, but I decided 21 point sacrifice seemed a bit steep to keep control of the board and have a better leave. However, the value of VATU is tricky to precisely quantify. I think Quackle would be off here, because in a lot of scenarios, by playing VATU, I will continue to make the non-best equity play in the next few turns (in favor of better board control plays). Quackle says CUVEE allows Chris to score 5.5 more points the next turn than VATU, and would allow me to score 3.5 fewer points than VATU (my bingo chances increase from 19% to 28% with VATU), so that is 9 of the 21 points made up for VATU in just the first 2 moves. Do you think that 12 points could be made up on turns thereafter? I'd be curious to hear others' thoughts on this.

#note This is probably a bit too cautious, especially with rack inference. Giving him P(A)DI instead of PI(N)TO isn't as big an upgrade of getting N(I)QAAB for me instead of Q(I). This is also bad if later in the game, he sticks an I at 5N. That's really hard to completely block without an S.

#note I noticed that something like UT 5F wouldn't be that effective of a block, since TROW can become STROW, so it would allow for bingos ending in NS or MS, whereas ROW would need for the P or the blank (as a B, C, F, G, P, T, or V) to be the last or second to last letter. What I failed to consider was that something like DOUT or DUIT effectively blocks the line, though it does empty the bag.
